Fuck me that's how you make a television show. Excellent from start to finish. I loved Gale pushing Gus to get Walt, and that was a hell of a shot Jesse made. The throat cutting scene was, of course, played absolutely perfectly.

Agree. Can't stand her in either. Not to be a crass prick but she's so unfeminine to me. Austin Powers would surely mistake her for a man, baby. Yeah!

Damn, it was like three blocks. I was more shocked she left her baby in the car in New Mexico. That seemed dumb.

Completely agree. Her idiotic breakdown in front of the locksmith....ugh. And yeah her presence in Deadwood really put a wet blanket over all of Bullock's fun times.

Jesse's shot....exactly like the wound Terry Crowley received in The Shield.

Gus...great scene, and Mike pulling the gun. Awesome.

Oh and just in case anybody didn't know, Johnathan Banks is the one who killed Mikey in Beverly Hills Cop...from one of my favorite movies to one of my favorite shows, great to see a link.

Great start to the season. I loved how they found a way to sneak in a "Yo" at the very end.

How was that idiotic?

Glad the show is back. Amazing episode last night. I did not see that throat slice coming...

Only nitpick: Walt's goatee was getting on my nerves last night for some reason. It looked like a fake, glued-on goatee in the lab.

How hilarious is it that my only nitpick about this show is a goatee?

Yeah, it was a pretty cleaver way to get into his place. People are reaching for Skylar complaints early on. I'm sure legit ones will come, people.

You could see Walt's breath during the last scene so I think it's Winter there, or at least not hot enough where the baby in the car for a few minutes would be an issue.

I guess I'm alone in really liking Anna Gunn. This is the first thing I've seen her in so I can't compare it to anything previously.

That is true. Though the morning to mid day temperature change can be pretty drastic.

Gus does own a chicken fast food chain.

I saw it coming, but didn't think it'd last as long as it did. I loved that Gus didn't say a single word for that entire scene until he got back upstairs.

Nah, I thought it looked fine. Overgrown, sure... but it looked real enough to me. He just needs the beard trimmer that I bought last year.

I thought it was interesting how long both he and Jesse were silent in this episode.

Johnathan Banks was a regular on one of my favorite shows already, Wiseguy. He played Frank McPike. He was also in a few episodes of Daybreak and most recently played Jay's brother this past season on Modern Family.

WISEGUY!
LOVED that show!
LOVED Frank McPike

What a complete shame that Ken Wahl went off the deep end.

I would think kidnapping might be the bigger concern.

"Everything's Eventual".

Now that's got to be a clue from Vince.

Although Anna Gunn is not there yet, I'm sure she could make a run at January Jones' bitch crown from the Mad Men threads by season's end.....or possibly early Season 5.

I don't have a problem with her character.

At least Anna Gunn can act. She's not my favorite, but she has reason to be a bitch with everything Walt has put her through, even if he was doing it for the family. January Jones is bland and her character is a total mental case.

Really?! I never thought much of her until the copy room scene until the episode titled I.F.T. from last season where I found her quite appealing. Both as a character and an actress, Skyler/Anne Gunn is far more compelling than January Jones. I found the latter stiff and wooden as Emma Frost rather than icy in X-Men: Origins.

Jonathan Banks is also really underrated as an actor. He's brilliant when it comes to brining a slow burn to a show or a series.

Sorry if I missed this but did Gus know that Victor was seen at Gale's apartment? I know Victor told Mike but I don't remember Mike talking to Gus before Gus arrived in the lab. I am wrong about this?
