While I know I was supposed to find the antics of Kenny and April amusing, I really had trouble doing so. I think it's due to the fact that living in Daytona Beach I often see parents who display that kind of attitude in public, and sometimes with their kids present.

I find their behaviour repulsive most of the time and I'm usually laughing in spite of that - this was no exception - I laugh while knowing that these are some of the worst, most morally bankrupt people on television...but I love it.

I still laughed at some of it, but that didn't make it any less disturbing to me. I was actually shocked that April up and left the way she did, as she seemed to love Toby and leaving him to be raised by Kenny Powers is not what a loving mother would do.

I understand people wanting a little more realism out of "The Office", but with EB&D, if you don't find humor in trashy people doing trashy crap, I don't think its the show for you.

I thought it was pretty obvious that was why April showed up at his house. I was actually expecting it to happen earlier in the episode when she first showed up and asked to use the bathroom.

My jaw dropped when I saw he was watching Super Fuzz. Nice touch especially since HBO aired this in heavy rotation back in the early 80s and I don't think they've aired it since.

Same here. Once she seemed to regret having the kid, I knew how the episode was going to end. Especially since so much emphasis was put on how "badass" Kenny's lifestyle was.

semi surprised we're still doing full season threads for this show. I could understand the first season (did anyone outside of maybe hardcore Apatow fans know who Danny McBride was) but now?

I'm not a big fan of Danny McBride, but I did watch 3-4 episodes of season 1 on HBO Go last year and found it pretty funny.

For shits and giggles, I watched the premiere and laughed quite a few times.

at Kenny Powers giving his 1 year old a PS3. That was pretty fucked up for April to leave like that and let her kid be raised by that arrogant piece of shit red neck.

Since it's such a short season and only 30 minutes a week, I'll watch the rest of the season. I want to see how he handles the kid.

I actually expected April to bail on the kid when she first showed up at Kenny's apartment and excused herself to go to the bathroom, so the ending didn't come as a surprise to me. I really like how they keep finding new things to do with this character without betraying what makes him funny in first place. Now that fucking Toby is all up in Kenny's shit, fucking up his game with his crying and whatever shit babies do, this should be comedy gold.
