I discovered this show the other day and I really love it. It's hosted by Jonathan Ross, and the basic idea is that they have magicians from around Britain come on the show to perform for Penn & Teller and if they can fool them with their trick they get to go perform in Las Vegas. Pen & Teller also perform a trick of some sort on each episode as well.

You can find the full episodes on YouTube right now, but I doubt that they will be up for long. Anyway, check it out if you haven't. It's Penn & Teller and lots of magic, most of which is pretty cool.

Unless Comcast carries it or it can be located in the torrent of other possible resources (which I haven't been able to) I will have to wait.

I did see the clip with the guy who fooled P&T with the card select. Nicely done!

I just looked into the torrent of other options and found it. haven't watched them yet though.

If only these episodes were like fish in a stream... then you would be able to use a net to grab them.

I love the show. Very funny. I like how P&T have to say how the trick is done without spilling the trick's secret outright. They'll say things like "if I were to take the deck of cards you used and fan them out in the other direction..." or reference a famous trick or technique known to other magicians, the performer will just smile and bow away gracefully when they know the pair had zoomed in on what they were doing.

I just watched the pilot, it was entertaining. I have to admit I'm surprised anyone thought they could fool Penn and Teller with a sleight of hand trick (even if that last guy "fooled" them). I don't like the fact that they have literally seconds to figure out the trick, give them a couple minutes at least!

I didn't see any full episodes on youtube, but I did find some various 10 min long clips of the show. Some great magic there, even if they didn't all fool P&T.

I had heard there was supposed to be a P&T Fool Us Christmas Special airing today. Anyone have any more info? For example, did it air?

It was okay. I wish they would explain the tricks they figure out instead of this wink wink gotcha. I know that goes against the magicians code though.

I'm glad they don't spoil the guys' routines by telling the secret. They just give enough information to let the guys know they know. I love magic that doesn't depend on camera angles, etc. It's fun watching David Blaine do it. It's fun watching these guys do it. It's fun watching guys in real life do it (one seemingly pulled a cantaloupe out of my suit jacket pocket once). I also used to think I want to know how did they do that, but the fun is in not knowing. If you knew all the tricks, you wouldn't be able to enjoy it the same way. It was impressive that one guy even fooled Penn & Teller.

I had seen bits and pieces of this when it was airing in the UK and really enjoyed it. Glad to see they are airing it in the US finally. Watched it with the kids and they enjoyed it quite a bit as well even though they didn't know anything about Penn & Teller beforehand.

Given the first post, it seems that way, and then some. Looks like CW picked up cheap summer filler programming.

I really wish P&T did more Bullshit Episodes.

from what i heard, they are going to do a US version of this show in the fall.

They are edited down, or at least the first one was. It was originally 64 min long, I think it was cut down to about 45.
