I still want to know WTF is taking so long with the S2 DVD to be released. With S3 presumably right around the corner, you'd think they'd want to get S2 out.

I hope they replay Season 2. I watched the first season and thought it was great, and would love to catch up before this starts.

Where did you see that? tvshowsondvd.com doesn't have that info. If it was scheduled for Sept. release, I would think there would have been an official release date set by now.

And here's the Tweet that gives September as the date:

Every episode of The League is available to stream on Hulu right now, so there's no need to wait.

I'll start a Season Thread for the premiere. I still don't think this show is popular enough on the board to merit a weekly episode thread.

I'll just wait for x-mas for the S2 DVD. They need to speed that up for next year. When I was looking forward to football season and fantasy football back in August - I was dying to watch S2 again to gear up.

A premiere thread was never made was it? Or did I miss it? Anyway, season 3 premieres tonight.
God I love this show. My buddy bought the first season and the two of us watched all 6 episodes in one sitting. Picked up season 2 on Tuesday and finished it last night. Can't wait for season 3.
Easily one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Every episode is pretty much non-stop laughs for me. It's super quotable and I have enough fantasy football team names to last me for the rest of my life. I can see how it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but I love it.
Even though it helps to have a BASIC understanding of fantasy football, it isn't necessary. For the most part, only a few minutes of each episode is devoted entirely to fantasy football. It's all about the trash talk leading up to the matchup and what happens afterwards and then all kinds of wacky side stuff in between. The characters are hilarious and instantly likable. Pete reminds me of what Jim Halpert used to be like before he turned into uber-douche. I thought given enough time, I would get sick of Taco, but I still like him a lot and the show sure knows how to cast hot chicks. Ruxin definitely outkicked his coverage.

I've been watching a lot of Sunny and Workaholics lately, and it made me realize just how much Workaholics "borrows" from Sunny and The League. Especially The League.
Glad as hell this show is back.
