My twitter feed exploded when it happened
What I pictured Shae looking like wasn't anywhere close to the actress playing her.
Disappointed they changed Tyrion's part in the battle.

Joffery's not very smart is he?
Very intense episode. Who was it that Ned yelled at and that kept Arya from watching?

Yoren, the Night's Watch guy who had a conversation with Tyrion in an earlier episode and whose job is to go find scoundrels to drag back to the Wall.

I think we've done exceptionally well at keeping things spoiler-free here. I'm trying to keep up with the Twitsplosion that's going on at the moment, and it looks like lots of people (West Coasters especially) are getting tonight's ending spoiled for them by reading the tweets about the show before seeing it. I guess this will learn 'em.
I'd like to think that the fact that the Starks have a wolf on their banner doesn't seem like such a drastic spoiler now, in context. But I might know better.

Wow, I thought Ned was the hero of the story. I'm definitely getting the novels after next week's episode. I don't think I can wait another year to see where the story goes from here.

And have really disliked the scenes with Robb and Catelyn these past two episodes.
And I'll second the disappointment in the Tyrion battle scenes.
However, the Maester Aemon/John Snow scene was fantastic; one of my favourites.

I'm just wondering who is going to get first billing on the opening credits for Season 2 now!
They killed off Caesar in the Season 1 finale of Rome but Ciaran Hinds wasn't first billed (he got the coveted "And" credit instead)

WTF was up with that interminable scene of Shae and Tyrion playing Truth or Dare? I guess maybe they needed to do something like that to tell the Tysha story, but why the fuck was Bronn there?

I'm a non-reader and didn't know this was coming, damn it was well done and hit hard. Because of what happened, I really want to read the books to find out more, but I don't think I'd have this strong of a reaction if I knew already. Ugh. I'm not sure which way to go (sidebar: I love True Blood and have stayed away from the books). Bottom line: Joffrey is a little piece of SHIT!!!!
