This should probably be here as the story that started it. How FOX sleeps at night, I have no idea.

And apparently, the interview will continue on tomorrow's Factor as they discuss the Presidential Race.

Two partisans who don't look at things objectively arguing with each other, this should be a good debate
I'm so tired of these political shows (Stewarts is a comedy show but does alot of political talk). I have friends that are like this on whatever issue I almost know what they are going to say, and it isn't even worth it having a debate anymore. These people dont' debate, they believe one thing because of their ideology, and will find a way to shoehorn their argument into their beliefs.
We all know that the libs will defend this rapper, and the conservatives will think the rapper has no business being in the White House. What annoys me about people like Stewart and O'Reilly, Hannity, Maddow, Maher, Beck, etc too is that if there was something where a Republican President did with a controversal singer, people like Stewart would be calling him out every night, and O'Reilly would defend him.

Did you even watch it? I thought it was a pretty good debate, you got to hear both sides' arguments and it didn't devolve into a shouting match.
I'd like to see the two of them go head to head more often as it forces them to defend their points rather than just preach to the choir.

Stewert and O'reilly aren't professional debaters nor was that a formal debating contest. Not sure what high level of discourse you're used to but that was more informed and level-headed than the partisan debates I see in real life, or elsewhere on TV for that matter.

Re: Jon Stewert on Monday's THE FACTOR
Bernie Goldberg came out to have an interview about the interview (Stewart/O'Reilly) and basically said Bill was the winner. He did try to make it "seem" like he was fair by throwing Jon a bone on one issue and Bill wouldn't have any of it. It wasn't enough to be declared the winner by Bernie Goldberg, he had to be right about every single issue too.
So, that's really all that matters.
Bill won.

Bill lives in his own little world. It's just sad that so many lemmings have immigrated there.

I think O'Reilly really does think Stewart is his "pal." So sad.

Re: Jon Stewert on Monday's THE FACTOR
David Silverman (the president of American Atheists and the guest during the infamous "Tides go in, tides go out. You can't explain that.") said that Bill off screen was a completely different person, kind, respectful, knowledgeable, etc. He said that his shocked expression when Bill said the tides thing was actually his realization that he was suddenly talking to a fictional persona.

So instead I'll just read the posts with a open mind and behave like Stewert & O'Reilly are going to behave.
