Keith Olbermann's "Countdown" back on June 20 - CurrentTV

Looking forward to the return of Olbermann.

Should be interesting to see what effect his show will have on Current TV's viewership.

nice to finally have a date ....
still I have taken a great liking to LOD's "The Last Word" (will have to look to catch one of the two when repeated)

I am guessing it will be very good for their viewership, but his numbers will be way down from MSNBC.

Good to see Keith Olbermann back tonight.

Very similar, if not the same format (even the music), as when Countdown was on MSNBC.

No Current TV on Charter, so I found a stream online and watched. Great to have KO back on at 8pm. And yep, the same organ music under "Worst Persons"

yep.

I assume the music is public domain so MSNBC didn't own it. Glad to see him back (and i'm surprised there hasn't been any "why would anyone watch a liberal douchebag/liar" comments yet.)

Nice to have Olbermann back. My only complaint is that the show runs a couple minutes over which screws up my DVR and cuts into Rachel Maddow.

Just like the mentor to screw over his protege.

Olbermann's Countdown on CurrentTV has better ratings than CNN on first night:

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...ats-cnn-203877

Who'd of thought that twice as many viewers would be watching CurrentTV as were watching CNN at the same time?

Seems like a few of the critics liked the show: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...v-debut-203570

I saw where KO mentioned possibly hiring Anthony Wiener for a show after his. I think he wasn't serious though.

Good to see Janeane Garofalo on his show tonight. She'd make a good host for a show there.

Actually I never liked him but not for his liberal/liar/douchebagginess. I just never really liked the guy. Maddow I'll watch some and I like Schultz. Mathews has a man-crush on Obama. I like him when he sticks to the politics. (he used to guest host for Limbaugh at one time even though he made no secret he was a democrat). One of my favorites is Morning Joe. Joe Scarborough and Mika Breszinski have a great give and take. Olberman; I just couldn't like the guy and I can't give you a rational reason why.

It seems Current TV's Countdown page doesn't stream the whole show, only 2 or 3 nightly highlight clips and web extras. Any streaming or DL sources for the whole show?

Olbermann tweeted that this practice will stop tonight.

How low can you go?
He was given plenty of exposure over his career and the majority of the American public just doesn't go for him.

I love cheesy organ music. House of the Rising Sun is one of my favorite songs.
