Same here. I was disappointed with Jeff, I thought he was the best vocalist coming in, but, to steal from another show, he was really pitchy.

I'd prefer Nakia, Vicci, Casey, and Javier to stick around.

I feel like some of the song selections from the coach's tanked the performers last night. No way the country guy sining a rock song like that is sticking around.

I really enjoyed Javier, but Adam keeps telling him to reign it in and he keeps going all bombastic at parts during the song. That will likely be his downfall if he doesn't win this thing.

Casey was surprisingly good last night as well. I think she could be the dark horse.

I feel like the Jared was robbed of moving forward. I don't think he have won the competition in the end, but I think he deserved to move forward. Xenia has a unique voice/sound, but she's just not good enough to keep going on. Blake should have let her go and worked with her outside of this show if he really wants to help shape her career.

I think Blake went the right direction. Dia was a lock to move on since she has actual fans from before the show. Not to say she wasn't good, because she was, it's just that she already has a fan base out there. Xenia was the right choice because she can bring something interesting to the table. Jared and Patrick are what they are and we'd watch them do the same thing week after week and it would get stale quickly. Not to mention that Jared just isn't that good.

I don't like how Christina's team is shaping up. I'm surprised America voted for Beverly. She has a nice personality but she's not that great of a performer. It doesn't surprise me that she chose Frenchie but there's no room for her to grow. She is who she is and she's not changing. I thought Jersey Girl was a dark horse since she seems to come from Christina's mold. But of her group I thought Lily was the best and I really wanted to see what else she could do.

I enjoyed pretty much all the performances last night. I think Vicci and Javier were easily the best. Her rendition of Jolene was fantastic. Javier is the favorite right now and he should be. He needs to relax with all the runs but he's a great singer. I think those two are locks to be America's vote.

Then after that I think Cee-Lo takes the Thompson sisters. I think he thinks they're cute and they can put on an interesting show at the very least. The country guy was ok for Cee-Lo but he needs to stick to country. Last nights performance might have been enough for him to lose it. Nakia's "Sex on Fire" was just forgettable.

I think Adam takes Jeff based on talent alone. But Jeff wasn't that great last night. It doesn't help that I'm not a big fan of that song. I liked Pre-Med and Casey a lot. It's too bad that Adam's team is so stacked because all four of them deserve to be in the competition. Pre-Med is done for sure but I think Casey might be a dark horse to get Adam's pick.

I think you could tell that Blake was hoping American picked somebody else, but then it would have made it easier for him to pick Dia as his choice.

I agree on Christia's team. I really thought that Lily had improved a lot and figured Christina might pick her over Frenchie. What irks me slightly about that is Frenchie has an established career on Broadway, whereas Lily could have used that experience and push more.

I feel like Adam's choice is going to come down to Casey and Jeff. In fact, I think he has the most difficult choice of all the judges because his "team" is better all around. I feel like Jeff is going to succeed regardless of what happens with this competition, whereas I think Casey would benefit from at least another week of exposure and tutoring.

For me I though Javier and Casey did the best jobs for Adam, although I think Jeff stays... I think Cee Lo takes the Thompson sisters and Vicci, at least that what I would do.

Problem with Christina's team is that neither one of them are marketable. I am shocked that people voted to keep Beverly. Blake did the right thing with keeping Xenia. There's something about her that the 2 guys just don't have. Sure they are more established, but Xenia has much more growth potential, and it doesnt matter anyway because Dia would beat anyone put up from his team. He probably kept Xenia based on the fact that those 2 are closer and can feed off each other. Javier and Dia are the favs to win imo, with Vicci being a darkhorse.

I dont think Adam with take Jeff. He shows much more excitement working with Casey...she can do different takes on differents songs. To me, Jeff is one trick. I dont like his tone, very nasally. Sweet kid, just not great.

Christina is getting on my nerves. She is always making it about her...even in her critiques of other teams performances. Her bantering is not even entertaining. I get the impression that Adam really really doesnt like her.

I would have liked to seen SOME emotion from Dia and Xenia. Some personality? Anything?

Ceelo did those sisters a disservice by giving them such an old fashioned song. I thought the whole thing was ridiculous. Didnt enjoy that at all.

My predictions are Adams team: Javier- America's choice Casey-Adam's Choice

Ce Loo- Vicci-America's choice Nakia-Ce Loo's choice.

Really enjoying this show.

OK nobody's talking about what Jeff Jenkins said about the Thomson sisters? I had to rewind to make sure I heard that correctly LOL.

I like the show. Better singers overall than AI, IMO.

And I like Jeff Jenkins' voice, but I don't like the way he seems to be pimping the death of his mother for attention and possible votes. Use what you got, I suppose.

I think that came through in the beginning and he's probably genuine about it. However, you can tell when the judges and/or Carson are prompting him that it's likely the producers who are trying to play that angle up to garner attention.

Yeah, I can't believe no one is mentioning that either. I turned to my girlfriend and said "did he really just say that?, shouldn't they have rehearsed that little bit beforehand?"

He should form a duo with Danny Gokey.

I only watched the first episode of this show but turned it off 'cause of Carson. But I watched last night's episode and this show is actually pretty good. Much better than Idol, which has way overstayed its welcome. The really do a great job with the performances, and the format of the show is pretty interesting.

I also like how the vocalists get to chose their songs, rather than being forced into competing in categories every episode. I also like how most of them play instruments as well.

I'm calling it now though, either Dia or Javier will win this competition. Dia's Heartless cover is awesome, and Javier seems to have a lot going for him as well.

Oh, and Dia is the first TV crush I've had in years. Damn she is cute.

I didn't know she had previously achieved some success as a musician though. I think it makes the competition a little unfair, but she is really talented anyway, so it seems to be a wash.

Just watched the latest show. My girl dia won America's vote hands down. Wasn't even Close :) As for tonights show I think

Vicci and Javier Should win America's vote.

Nakia will win Cee-lo's vote.

Adam I'm not 100% on should be Jeff but i think he has a thing for Casey and might want to keep it guy girl for his team. We'll see.

Being a fan of the band Meg & Dia, I was thoroughly shocked when saw Dia in the opening rounds. With that said, I am pulling for Dia all the way, but would hate to see Meg & Dia broken up; even though they don't currently have a contract. I remember introducing them to a co-worker of mine by making him listen to the song 'Monster'. I left that job and a few years later I went back, and he had nineteen stars tattooed on his arm because that's the title of one of their songs.

To be fair, many of the contestants are seasoned in one way or another.

Javier put out an album for Capitol Records and actually had a song crack the Billboard Hot 100 (#95) in 2003.

Vicci has put out 7 CDs and a live DVD out.

Tori & Taylor were winners in American Juniors (the Idol spinoff featuring kids) back in 2003 -- both sisters making the group of 5 which was the prize of that show.

Frenchie was in Rent on Broadway for awhile.

My choice for final 2 is the girl who sang Heartless (and did the arrangement herself) and Javier.

The host is blah, Christina is annoying and they need to quit showing the backstage tweeting. Other than that, I like it.

Dia Frampton's "Heartless" just debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #78.
