Synopsis:

Spoiler:
While searching for a way to defeat Eve, Dean stumbles upon Samuel Colt's (guest star Sam Hennings) journal in the Campbell library. Realizing Samuel might have the answer to their problems, Sam and Dean ask Castiel (Misha Collins) to send them back in time so they can meet the man himself. While Sam is a bit reluctant to time travel, Dean is beside himself with excitement to return to the Wild, Wild West.

I liked it. Even though I hate this mother plot it was a fun episode with some good laughs. I was hoping for more Samuel Colt stuff like getting some more mythology behind the gun and devil traps.

I liked the beginning, too. 48 hours earlier...and 150 years later. Nice little twist on the overused (IMO) technique.

The end seemed to be a copy of Back to the Future part II. Awesome episode. I though at first the entire episode was pointless by the end.

"You know what that is? Authenticity!"

Also the Star Trek stuff had me rolling.

Edit: Also a big to Bobby's Deadwood comment.

The ending was right out of BTTF2. Very entertaining. I'm actually surprised that did not make a reference to this when the delivery guy showed up.

Glad to see it worked this week. I had a good time with this one. You can tell Ackles was excited to do this episode.

I loved the line (as small as it was) "What do we do, run or fight?"

Next weeks episode looks good and nasty.

I had a lot of fun this episode. It's a shame Castiel's war has been totally pushed into the background. It's far more interesting than all this Mother Of All crap. It also doesn't help that the chick playing Eve is terrible.

BTTF2 also did the clothing gag and had Marty use the name Clint Eastwood.

My favorite line: "We'll Star Trek IV this bitch."

Bobby's follow up "I only watched Deep Space Nine." was good too.

So many great one-liners in this one.
The "candy-gram for mongo" line got me.

Re: Supernatural -- "Frontierland" -- 4/22/11

Now this was a fun Supernatural episode. Way better than last week's Titanic mess.

Dean: My name is Marshall Eastwood, Clint Eastwood. His name is Walker, he's a Texas Ranger.

And I liked that Cowboy's line about how clean Dean looked.

at Dean's reaction to the whore with Herpes all over her lip. At least the writers got that accurate that Western whores weren't glamorious and alot of them were infected with venereal diseases.

That was SO gross!
My favorite part was Castiel to Bobby "I'm going to have to touch it...very gingerly or you might explode" LOL
