Clearly they would've gotten an R, or they wouldn't have had to cut them for the US release. That's the MPAA for you. I hoped that they'd get some "unrated director's cut" releases in the US or something, but I guess I'll have to pick up the imports.

That's why that movie that Paul Walker did with Jessica Alba (where they were treasure hunters who found a sunken ship full of drugs) was so insanely violent towards the end despite only getting a PG-13 rating. Yet a pretty mild movie like Losing Isaiah was saddled with an R.
And remember that greenband trailers only allow PG content in them. Yet the spikes to the legs was in the greenband trailer of Taken but excluded from the PG-13 rated theatrical cut.

Officially Dead on Cinemax, despite all 12 episodes being filmed. It was airing in foreign markets.
A 2nd season was greenlit for foreign markets. Frank Spotnitz, who wrote and produced for The X-Files, Strike Back and Hunted, is the new showrunner. Chris Vance is not signed for a 2nd season yet.
A had a feeling this would happen. When I went on vacation to Asia back in February, I found the DVD set in a flea market. It had all 12 episodes. I went ahead and picked it up. At least I will be able to see the 1st season at some point.

I'm sure another network will pick this up in the US. Odd that Cinemax passed since this sounds right up their alley.

I know he will never respond, but I would love to know how he decided on this particular thread to post his bullshit in.

It's a standard spam in random threads. I Googled one line and got results from various forums (Men's Health, Baby Center, etc.

I'm confused. What are you guys talking about? My comment is about The Transporter TV series. Cinemax decided to not air it despite all the episodes being filmed. My comment was based off the story I found.

I only saw 2 episodes from the DVD I picked up, but I was entertained. If it was that horrible, they wouldn't have greenlit a 2nd season for the foreign markets.

Well this is really confusing. HBO was one of the producing partners for it and it aired on a HBO Canada even. I wonder what caused Cinemax to decide not to air it?
