Loved this episode, hopefully I'm not catching-up just so this show ends. I hope there's one more season...if not, hopefully they could wrap this up cleanly, however impossible that might be.

Fans are being too kind to this episode because in all likelihood Fringe is not coming back. I thought the extended Bell impersonation was one bad joke. The writers should have never made Nimoy a key part of the mythology if he was going to retire from acting. Situations like Olivia having to be possessed for an entire episode by him to include the character is a classic jump-the-shark moment.

I want to say that it was a jump the shark moment except for that when Olivia was in Bell's office way back when, he rang a bell for no reason at all.

I do like this show and it was going great so far, but this episode was pushing it a bit. Bells soul, come on now. Yes she did a great job with the impression but it was only a ploy to get Nimoy character back on the show. The writers better be careful.

I love that THIS is the one thing you guys can't grasp. Of all the weirdo shit on this show, THIS can't be believed?
I thought it was a fun sub-plot, especially having Lincoln show up so Olivia couldn't recognize him.

there really is no "jumping the shark" on a show like this...the whole premise is based on fringe phenomenon
how can someone accept observers, fotw, crossing over, etc and then have a problem with *Bellivia* lol

My thoughts exactly. I thought it was something really different and added that element of comedy amidst the seriousness.

Possible spoilers ahead for the final episode of the season:
I was on the set of Fringe last night in Vancouver and saw the following:
Oh, and I'll actually go back and say that these are probably big spoilers for the final episode - this set up I'm going to explain may very well be from the last scene for the finale.
They had signs up stating that if you were in the crowd, they could use you in the show and that by standing there you gave them permission. I don't think I was in any of the shots, but I suppose it's possible.
