at the possum storyline: "Its bottom is worse than its top!" Pretty good episode all around.

After the inevitable cancellation of this show, I'll definitely follow Christine Woods and Kyle Bornheimer in whatever they do next.

I started out hating this show after the first ep, but have to admit that the last few have been better, and I have found some laughs in each one. I guess NBC made the unfortunate choice of showing the worst episode (at least, so far) first. And I agree that Christine Woods is very appealing, reminding me of a young Sally Field. And Kyle Bornheimer has grown on me a bit, too. Now I can at least see why he's gotten a few chances with some different series.

I think the biggest stumbling block for the show is that it's relying too much on cliched/familiar "funny" relationship situations as fodder for its plots. If the show's creators had enough imagination to step outside those parameters, I think they might have had something, especially with the lineup in which they were placed.

Same.

And Munn...she barely does anything in the show. She might eek out 3-5 lines a week.

Same here. Kyle Bornheimer has a flustered John Ritter quality about him that makes him very ideal for a sitcom. Christine Woods showed some good timing in the previous episode when she was being hit on. The problem with the show is that I only enjoy half the cast (David Walton played a sympathetic character on 100 Questions), but find absolutely hate Waitress, Rex, and the Munn.

did you watch "Worst Week"? talk about the perfect vehicle for a flustered character.

I liked Worst Week, by the way.

I liked Worst Week too, and never thought of the John Ritter comparison until now, but it certainly does fit.
