Thank god this show is on NBC. Anywhere else it would have been canceled long ago.

Good episode. Nowhere near Modern Warfare quality but definitely not bad.
I've laughed more at several episodes this season though.

Oh, and season 1 was amazing from the start. Like Dan Harmon said, if you disagree you were just watching wrong in the beginning.

Dan Harmon's the man but yeah he's wrong, the show started off rocky as hell.

We also were learning the characters' traits and idiosyncrasies in the first half of the first season. I think things got stronger as we understood the characters more. even though it's a comedy, and the characters seem like caricatures on the surface, they really do have depth.

Right, didn't every character have their own "-centric" episode in the very beginning? Abed's film with his dad, Troy and the football team, etc. Those were all good, but once the groundwork was laid, the ensemble started to shine.

I also love how everyone groans super loud when she gets all self-righteous.

This observation gave me a chuckle.

Annie's little bit and Pierce's line about rubbing his balls on the sword had me dying in hysterics.

Oh man, Allison Brie just rocks in this. "I take off my tunic in full and remove my large cock." lol.

I know that we saw Fat Neil before in class when he was called on, but for some reason, I think that we saw Jeff directing someone to the bathroom by Fat Neil in a previous episode. Am I crazy?

I really enjoyed the episode. I know next to nothing about Dungeons & Dragons, but still found the episode hilarious. I love that they embraced the nerdiness of the plot and ran with it.

Most of the funniest bits have already been noted, but I loved this exchange:

Yes. This is one of the funniest running gags they've developed on the show.

At some point they're going to say they've been hooking up since the year/most recent semester started.

I love that the very first result of a Google-image search for "Annie's Boobs" is this:

Loved this episode. Never played this game, and the other time I've seen it depicted, was also a good episode of Freaks and Geeks.

This was my first time watching Community. I've played a lot of D&D over the years and am kind of awed that it was given pretty good coverage here. It's a fun game but the current versions have lost the simplicity of the old school approach as in the episode. I'll have to go check out the Modern Warfare ep.
