Julis and Dave (Woods and Bornheimer) are the best of the worst.

I got a good laugh last week at everyone ripping this show to pieces.

I hope that Bornheimer finally finds a hit show. I loved Worst Week or whatever it was called.

I find the show moderately amusing, but I do hope this gets cancelled so Christine Woods can get cast on a better show next season....preferrably a 1 hour drama. She should fire her agent for landing her this gig. Judging by what I saw on Flashforward last season, I think her talents are better suited for a drama.

I like Bornheimer too but this show, or the first episode anyway, was pretty badly written. I will give it a few more tries.

So I guess nobody watched it? I was coming in here trying to see if it got any better. And did they skip episode 2 for some reason?

I think episode 2 may have been the one that aired in December.

The show is mildly amusing, but nothing special. I think NBC should swap timeslots for this with Outsourced. Yeah, I'm becoming an Outsourced supporter...

I actually laughed 2 times this week... Its 200% better!!

This episode should have been the pilot. It was a good introduction to the characters, and was pretty funny and cute. The little wedding montage was hilarious.

Dammit, I proposed to my wife using our dog. it was NOT cheesy!

overall, decent ep.

loved the reveal that the brother's proposal happened at their wedding, proposing on the same day as meeting her, and stealing thunder from the bride.

Perfect shite.

I find it humorous that they use alcoholism as a running joke.

You should check out Cougar Town.

Have you watched Cougar Town?

This is not a show i will be watching. I will actually go out of my way to avoid it as it just a time waste.
I do not blame the actors as more seasoned veterans could not do any better with the way the characters are written. I am an Olivia Munn fan from AOTS and I just have to say that her and her guy's characters are plain caricatures. They have no depth the way they are written. I find it almost inconceivable that the more moderate couple would even hang out with the two flighty couples.

What do they do in Couger Town regarding drinking?

They drink wine all the time on Cougar Town.

This show is all kinds of awful.. Like someone else suggested above, I would love it if they swapped time slots with Outsourced (or even 30 Rock).

It has become the comedic premise of the show, and a running joke in the show, that the characters are drunken loafers.

I don't like this show.
Maybe if it was just Julis and Dave (Woods and Bornheimer) I could take it a little.
This show goes into the category of Idiot plot.

"You see it when the plot advances because just one character acts like an idiot. And inexplicably so, because the character is not otherwise an idiot, or if he is a complete idiot, he is in a position of authority that complete idiots do not achieve in real life. Further, this idiotic behavior is never explained or questioned by the other characters, which makes them idiots as well."

They kinda addressed that in the one episode I did watch, where the "normal" couple was saying how they felt much better off than the two other couples, only to realize how they also have problems (mainly related to giving into the other two). I thought that was a nice touch. Not very funny, but still a nice touch.

One of the couples is related by blood and the other one is his business partner, so at least there's a basic premise on why they're stuck together.

I find it interesting, funny at times but not groundbreaking. I'd be lying if I didn't admit the real reason I watch is to see Olivia Munn in various outfits. She could spin in circles for 22 minutes and I would watch it weekly.

Similar to the reason why I put up with 13 on House (Wilde).
