Although I'm not a huge videophile/video quality guy, I have noticed this as well. It looks significantly better on my plasma than it does on my LCD.

If you want your cones to get a workout, watch CSI: Miami.

I see nothing wrong with 30 Rock's picture. It's a stylistic choice.

On an unrelated note, why does 30 Rock's picture look so drab compared to the other Thursday night comedies? It's like their contrast is turned way down. Especially compared to Outsourced which has bright colors out the ass.

He isn't gay, he's just oddly odd.

This didn't even start til around mid-last season. The first 3 years were vibrant, no idea why they make everything so dull now

OK episode but it was too reminiscent/coped from an SNL bit where Tom Brokaw has to do a bunch of new clips for various possible ways of the passing of Gerald Ford. "Gerald Ford dead today, eaten by a pack of wolves."

I upgraded from a 720p Sony to a 1080p Samsung and I thought that was the reason for the color looking duller. NBC Nightly News is dull in color as well.

This was an unquestionable classic in my eyes. Everything about it was great from start to finish. I hope they continue on the same path.
