Yeah, Andy as Bert Macklin was easily one of the funniest things this show has done. I hope we get to see him again this season.
Andy: "My name is Bert Macklin. I'm with the f****** FBI."
Andy: "I'm...I'm not crying. I'm allergic to jerks!"

It was always a tie between Ron and Andy for me. As far as likeability, Andy wins hands down.
I'm far more impressed with what they've done with Andy though. At first, he was totally self-centered and seemed to add very little to the show. In fact, I'd argue that he sort of weighed the show down at first. But the little retooling they did with him in between Seasons 1 and 2, along with Chris Pratt's excellent performance and knack for physical comedy, has made him into one of the show's breakout characters for me.

The end reminded me that both Scott Bakula and Rob Lowe are only guest starts at this point. Man, I want them to stick around. Party Down and that terrible ABC family show got cancelled anyway, so they might as well keep them on.

Oh man. I rewatched that part about 5 times. What the fuck was he doing with the drawer?
I've read that they both signed on as regular cast members starting this season.

If only they'd stick this on right after Community, that could be the best hour of comedy ever.

Finally watched this today. Ron's scenes were again the highlight for me... specifically when he brought April "magazines and lipstick" and was BBQing in the office. Funny stuff.

I've been very hit and miss on this show, Have seen maybe 25% of the episodes, if that. I've always been kinda meh. But caught this one and got some genuine laughs out of it. Very funny.

Awesome episode. Loved Andy in this episode and his physical comedy. I got a good laugh after Ron threw him the pass and he fell over the car triggering the alarm.
I also loved Ron just casually putting on the indoor BBQ. I think Ron and Andy bonding in this episode was definitely the highlight.
Ann losing it with April after she was officially off the clock.
at Leslie contaminating Jerry's mug and all his stuff including the computer monitor.
I know April isn't the most likeable character on this show, but I love that she's such a bitch and knows it. Especially when she gives those evil smirks after she pisses someone off.

And are you talking about Rob Lowe's previous show "Brothers and Sisters" on ABC? That's still going on. It hasn't been cancelled. He probably left that show because the shooting schedule for a sitcom is so much easier than a 1 hour drama.

BTW, Is anyone relieved that Paul Schneider is no longer on the show? I hated Mark and he just never fit in with the cast. Plus, he was such a douchebag boyfriend for Ann.

Thanks for posting DJariya, that was hilarious. This cast really seems like they have fun together. I loved Aziz and Rob Lowe mixing the drinks. I hope they also include this on the Season 3 DVD, along with the one from Funny Or Die where Rob Lowe loses it over being off the air for so long.

Ron Swanson with this Pyramid of Greatness Poster. Follow its advice and you too may be transformed from a boy to a man, from a man to a gladiator, and from a gladiator into a Swanson.
