As for Michelle's antics downing the other girls, etc., for those of you who saw the upcoming previews, it'll be addressed. I just hope it isn't an editing fakeout that ends with Brad accepting her crap again. You'd think he'd have long since told her, "It's nice that you're confident in yourself, but I don't understand why you feel the need to put down the rest of the girls. I think highly of them." Even if he likes Michelle (God forbid), I can't see how you'd want to spend your life with someone whose only ability to shine seems to be rooted in throwing black paint on everyone else. Reports are the drama over Emily and the NASCAR date was a bit blown out of proportion. Her man died half a decade ago, and she's been back to NASCAR events many times since then. In fact, it's reported that she worked on the circuit in some capacity and even dated Dale Earnhardt, Jr. for awhile. She has also flown since then, so it's not like there were firsts on The Bachelor. I do believe memories would return and emotions would be stirred, but it isn't as bad as it first appeared. Now I believe more than ever these women aren't on it for "love" (or even "money.") The guy really has zero personality. Granted, when you have his looks, personality really doesn't matter. Did they ever get rich guys anymore - since the Firestone guy? The money angle is what made For Love or Money so good. |

I was ready to see a catfight among all the girls and Chantel, who all looked like they were going to kill her with their eyes after that shopping spree. Is it just me or are these women more whiny and desperate than normal? I don't understand how these women can all complain about not being married yet when they are all gorgeous.

Michelle is really what keeps me watching. Insane, beautiful women is a passion of mine :) I'm really hoping Chantal is chosen, but there's something bothering me about her. With Michelle, what you see is what you get. However, I think Chantal has an ugly side to her we haven't seen yet. I can't tell if she is hiding her arrogance or if she is truly genuine.

Amazing that you can remember them by name. I can only remember Emily, Michelle, and Ashley (helps that she's now the only Ashley left) by name since they have stood out the most either by attention, looks, and/or craziness.

There are 8 girls left, so you're missing Jackie and Alli. I still think Britt has the prettiest eyes out of the bunch, and I really believe in the kissing chemistry between her and Brad, but she's gotten very little air time, so we don't really know what her on-air personality is all about. Both Britt and Shawntel could get by with the least amount of make-up. I think if I was picking a final 4 out of this bunch, it'd be: Britt, Shawntel, Emily and Alli/Chantal, but we all know Michelle will probably be in the final four, and Brad will most likely pick: Michelle, Emily, Shawntel, and either Chantal/Britt. I can't see either Ashley or Jackie getting through to a final four spot. |

Michelle hasn't come close to looking like that picture above. She looks fucking worn out on the show. She reminds me of the 2-face from Seinfeld who looked horrible in bad lighting. The problem is that she has looked like the bad half of the 2-face pretty much the entire time on the show.

Anyone catch the amount of makeup Emily had on during the rose ceremony the other day. I was starting to think she was attractive, but the mound of makeup she was wearing was repulsive.

An evil part of me hopes that Brad ends up with Michelle because there's no way that union will last even a few months.
Shawntel's face also reminds me of a cross between Summer Glau and Moon Bloodgood with middling results. |

I think Shawntel is the best looking one there. I think she has a bit of an ethnic look which I really dig (see Olivia Munn). Add the long dark hair and the body and you've hit a home run in my book. Plus she doesn't have a "plastic" look about her. She is more "girl next door" to me. However, I'm still trying to figure out what the glitch in her personality is.

Her glitch is that she deal with dead bodies all day. Wait, given Brad's lackluster personality, it could be a match made in the morgue.
Personally, I think it's a stretch to say Shawntel is the best looking one, but it is a matter of taste. She's above average, like a young nice looking neighbor next door kind of a gal, but not super-hot. |
