I don't find Cougar Town to be particularly hilarious, it isn't offensively unfunny but it doesn't really do much for me. It strikes me as Scrubs lite. Very lite.

I only watch it because the TV is already on ABC after Modern Family.

I've acquired a few eps of Archer and Community to check out. I have watched most of the first ep of the League and like it a lot (not quite love it yet). The whole fantasy football thing put me off in the past because i have no clue about fantasy football.

Ive got all of the first 3 series of Big Bang theory but can't get into the show.

"Big Bang Theory" is to nerds what "Mike and Molly" is to the obese: a collection of lowest common denominator jokes exploiting a stereotype. At least Mike and Molly are likable characters though.

What i like is the women are as vulgar as the men. The song in the pilot episode had me ROFL !

Community (by far the funniest of NBC's Thursday night lineup)
Psych (lots of 80's pop-culture references, so it definitely appeals to Gen X'ers)
Glee (seriously, beneath the High School Musical veneer is a lot of really funny dark humor)
30 Rock (I don't like this as much as I used to, but it still delivers a lot of laughs)
Castle (yeah, it's a police procedural show, but it's also pretty funny)

There is minimal football involved in the show. There's a few references here and there, but nothing that would turn you away if you hate football.

Yeah, I really should've included that in my Top Five. In fact, I'm going to edit my list now. Don't know how I overlooked that one.
