this show has become a tedious chore for me to watch over the last couple of episodes. it's a shame too, as I was really jazzed about this show coming back. Now I couldn't really care less if it gets cancelled.

I actually have to agree with you here. Out of the 6 episodes that have aired so far, I would say maybe 2-3 have been pretty good (mainly the Baptiste episode) and the others mediocre to bad.

Why do shows always say suburbia is 'hell'? I remember they also did it on Angel. Guess I'm weird since I'd much rather live in the suberbs then in the city.

I have commented on any of the episodes, but man this show totally sucks now. It is like they wanted to get a different audience (*cough* mainstream *cough*) and got away from why we all liked it.
However, I still like Valley, so I will stick with it to the end. But it might be difficult to do.

I think Matt Miller, the new head writer/showrunner, never watched 1 episode of Human Target last season.
It's kind of funny that probably the best episode of the season "The Return of Baptiste" was written by Jonathan Steinberg, the creator of the show and last season's showrunner.
I mentioned this a few weeks ago, but they have totally blown off the story arc with Chance and Katherine Walters (Amy Acker) from last season's finale and who may have killed her.

I wouldn't say the show sucks now, but it has fallen into a rut that tries to make it into a copy of Leverage (which also has been dropping in quality as it goes on). I think if they kept Poochie as a silent partner and the girl to a guest star role the show would go back up a notch.
I did like the premiere (B+) and the Baptiste episode (A-) the most with the rest falling either C & C+ in quality.

the show has become low budget now too.
where did the shoot-out in the money launderer ep take place?
Last season they shot in much more wordly locations, this year in someone back alley fake motel.

So... If there is a season 3, could they just totally ignore season 2 the way season 2 has ignored season 1? Has something like that ever happened before?
At least
is coming back in the next episode. Hopefully it'll be as good as the Baptiste episode this season.

It wasn't until last week that I finally made the connection between "Poochie" (from The Simpsons) and "Pucci" (from Human Target). I guess the writers do have a sense of humor after all.
And Janet Montgomery's real voice is too hot to not use!

I've changed my opinion of this season. I hated the way they threw out the season 1 cliffhanger and moved onto something far less interesting. That said over the past 2 weeks I've just started watching the show for what it is and stopped comparing to season 1.
If this was a new show I'd probably watch it, not love it, but I would watch it and probably enjoy it. It is what it is, not Human Target of last season but a nice mindless procedural action show.

Loved the Winston fight scene in the kitchen and some of the humor. Was bored by everything else. This show is losing me.

OK, who was the girl that played the "girlfriend" of the son? Its driving me crazy trying to figure out where I've seen her before.

Still a fan. I like the light-heartedness of this show. It has never taken itself seriously.
I wouldn't mind if it went back to it's season one roots, but this is good enough for me.

I was feeling sad for the characters in the show.
Chance taking a paycheck, I guess he isn't trying to keep his identity a secret anymore, and Chi joining a women's book club. jeez.
