I thought his vocals where awful, just way off key, terrible.
His lower range wasn't too bad but anything on higher notes not good at all, the band stunk too. The little Tribute he did for Lennon was nice. Ok I just got to the end of the show and Paul's FOURTH number was very good Get Back was spot on. |

At the start of the show I told my wife that we'd get a Vogelchecs sketch... and right out of the gate we did. Disgusting as usual, but Hader's hand up Rudd's shirt was hilariously uncomfortable. Even my wife laughed at that. The gum thing was gross though. We FF'ed after that.
The "What's My Name?" Show was great. LOL all around. Especially when they brought Norman around again. The school assembly sketch show how versatile Pharoah is and how one-note the F.A.N. still is. The Digital Short was very good. I wonder how many takes it took. Stefan's "12 Things of Blitzen" was great. The human traffic cones had me rolling. It was an okay episode once you throw the rest of the show in, even McCartney. Oh, and I thought that the cold open was great. |

Agreed about McCartney's vocals. Sounded pretty rough and off key. He seemed to be battling his voice in many spots.
I enjoyed the Meryl Streep on Ice - good impression. The rest ranged from "meh" to horrible. They really have to stop recycling skits - or at least stop after 2 or 3 times. The kissing family hasn't been funny or even shocking for a long time.... just repetative. |
