Every ad for the show says "Smallville: The Final Season" . I think it is completely out of the question.

I've never once seen anyone involved suggest there could be another season after this one. You'd think that type of news would make the rounds in entertainment circles (including here). I'd appreciate a link.

Hamilton and Slade are from Battlestar Galactica. It's just one big sci-fi mash-up.

Clark just had his 5 year high school reunion this season. It started when he was a freshman in h.s. It's seems like it's very much in line with the "omes of age in his late 20's."

All these actors are just preparing for their eventual career as autograph signers at sci-fi cons once the acting things dries up. The more sci-fi shows you can get yourself in, the higher demand or 'value' you are.

Sad. I've become used to Smallville being on it will be weird not having it return in the fall.

10 years is about 5 more than this series deserved. I'm just glad they seem to have some semblance of a plan this season.

Geoff Johns fixed a lot of that in the late 90's, and it's been that they are reborn and reunited each lifetime, although the length of time from death to rebirth varies. However, for about 10 years, Hawkgirl was Kendra Saunders (a suicide victim whose soul somehow inhabited Shiera Hall's body in the usual "something weird happened and we must accept it" type occurrence).
