Synopsis:

Spoiler:
After reading an article about China growing as a global power, Michael (Steve Carell) decides China must be stopped before they take over the US. Everyone in the office complains about Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) building standards and Pam (Jenna Fischer) threatens to move Dunder Mifflin to a new building.

In other news, Steve Carell already has a new gig. He is writing and Producing a new comedy Pilot for NBC for possibly next season.

The first part of the synopsis sounds exactly like the plot of a South Park episode.

Solid episode. I liked that they just made the China plot a competition between Michael and Oscar.

Andy's texts to Daryl had me

The Pam vs. Dwight plot was the highlight. The stuff Dwight was doing cracked me up. And that has got to be one of the best endings of any episode of The Office. It was great seeing Dwight help give Pam a win when she needed it most.

I haven't been enjoying the last few episodes, but this one really worked for me. A bit more low key like the show used to be.

I agree, this was more like the old episodes. Nothing about long-spun story threads. Just some wacky office stuff. That's what makes the early seasons so much better. Thumbs up from me.

I liked this episode. The second Pam bit was kind of funny.

I've got to admit, I laughed way too hard at the pigeon bit.

I had a looooooong day and must have been punch drunk when I got home in time to see this because I was giddy throughout the show. Michael's reaction to Erin's plan had me cracking up.

I'm surprised "Suck it, Oscar!" didn't get a "That's what he said" from Michael.

I liked how Erin thought the office was plotting to kill her for the insurance money.

I was starting to dislike the episode but it ended up being really solid. I thought Micheal randomly being obsessed with China was going to be dumb, but I really liked what they did with it. It ended up being a nice use of Dwight's new lounge area in the lobby. Also, Dwight's assistant de-plying the toilet paper with a loom type machine was great.

I agree, I started out thinking it was gonna be one of the weaker episodes, but I eneded up really liking it. loved the bit with Dwight letting Pam win. Great episode.

I loved Pam's description of what would happen to Dwight if Dunder Mifflin moved, complete with the bank beating him up and Cece dancing on his grave -- with all of her clothes on.

Did I miss something. When did Dwight become the owner of the DM's building?

Watch the season premier. It may have happened in last season's finale. But there were a lot of jokes about it in the season premier.
