Some bad, but not unexpected news. This story pretty much confirms that The Good Guys has been cancelled. FOX will not be ordering any more episodes. Episode 20 should be considered the "Series Finale."

Yeah, I was hoping somehow The Good Guys would get an additional season, but I realized that was highly unlikely. At this point I'm just hoping we get a DVD release so I can revisit the series.

I think FOX can definitely make a DVD set (probably not BR though) and have it out sometime next year and make some money from it. Pretty much all the plots are self contained and they can market this set as "From the creator of Burn Notice"

Was that Sam Rockwell playing one of the truck thieves? I can't see him doing a guest spot on this show, but it looked a lot like him.

Nahh Rick Gomez, he was great in band of brothers. Always good to see him in a show.
Ill get the DVD but Ill be surprised if it has all the music

Ok..Dan was totally capped on by the diamond store guy. "A guy from the village people is here and wants to buy a diamond for his boyfriend"

So this was number 18 of 18 correct? Fox better bring this back for another season. The networks continue to amaze me with some of the shows they run on...and on....and on that are total crap. If not...I know I could watch season one over and over again!!!!

The show for all intents and purposes is cancelled. See post #4. FOX isn't ordering anymore episodes. Episode 20 will be the series finale. Noone who has kept track of the ratings should be shocked by this. It did mediocre ratings during the summer and was a total bust on Friday nights.

Not that it makes any difference, it's not surprising that they're not ordering more episodes because at 20 episodes they pretty much done for the season anyway.

Yeah I know episode 20 is the last episode produced for the season anyways. That story should have probably said they aren't ordering a 2nd season. Matt Nix should have pitched this to USA, not FOX. This show would have been better served being developed and promoted as a cable series.

Yeah, USA definitely seems like the better home for this show. As someone mentioned above, it would go great with the tone of Psych. Not to mention Dan Stark fits perfectly in USA's whole "Characters Welcome" promotions and Matt Nix already has one of USA's top-rated shows with Burn Notice.
