Was anyone able to nab one of the 10,000 free t-shirts Team Coco was giving away? I couldn't believe how fast those things went.

Actually winning one of the shirts was kind of a joke if you ask me, but I did manage to snag one for a pretty reasonable price on eBay ($27).

I won the "Most Anticipated Event, Since The Last Anticipated Event" shirt.
Amazingly they shipped them via UPS for 3 day delivery and mine's already on the local truck out for delivery, two days later.

I tried every day to get one and they were out within like 1 minute so I pretty much gave up trying my luck. The sucky part was that pretty much any of the shirts they were giving away were better than the official ones you can buy from the web site. The one I did end up getting was the one from Sunday (gray shirt with a bunch of Conan hair logos in white and one in orange).

For the record though, some of the shirts popped up days early on eBay and were advertised by sellers as items sent out to members of the press.
I do suspect people guessed codes early, because I entered a code one day, 10 seconds after it showing up on Twitter, and they were all gone.

1. Oh I did, and I still wanted to put you in your place.
2. Yea, believe me I'll never make that mistake again. However, due to the style of the post, I'm quite certain the majority of the people in this thread assumed it wasn't just me writing up a quick blurb to share. I felt it was fairly obvious it came from somewhere other than me. I didn't know I needed to use MLA citation style on a forum about DVDs.

Conan O'Brien was welcomed back to television by more than 4.1 million viewers, while his winning numbers had minimal effect on his late-night opponents.
The former host of "The Tonight Show," who left NBC eight months ago, returned on Monday with a new talk show, "Conan," premiering on basic-cable network TBS.
In the 11 p.m. Eastern hour, O'Brien's opening night throttled his direct rivals on Comedy Central. "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" was seen by 1.3 million viewers, followed by "The Colbert Report" with 1 million.
But the curiosity factor clearly brought new viewers to the scene. Even against the debut of "Conan," the "Daily Show" audience dropped by just 200,000 viewers from its season-to-date average for Monday episodes. Viewership for "Colbert" dropped by only 150,000 from its season-to-date average.
Conan beat Jay Leno, the host who reclaimed the "Tonight Show" chair from him. Starting at 11:35 p.m. Eastern, "Tonight" attracted 3.5 million viewers. But "Tonight," which overlaps with "Conan" by 25 minutes, was down by just 100,000 viewers. Season-to-date, "Tonight" is averaging 3.6 million viewers, according to the Nielsen Co. It's really nice to have him back.

Todays Bill Simmons podcast, The BS Report is an hour long interview with the author of the new book "The War of Late Night", Bill Carter. Carter previously wrote the book and screenplay for "The Late Shift" which chronicled the last great late night shakeup when Carson retired.
It was an interesting listen, although Team Coco members may not appreciate that he doesn't make Leno a villain. He seems largely critical of everyone in some degree or aspect, but mostly from a business mistakes angle.

I was able to get the first and third shirt that was given away. I could have gotten the second shirt, but the site was crashing like crazy.

And seriously, what other show is doing a joke centered around a laser warming up a cup of noodles. See! Cause it's a nerd thing!

Did anybody notice the strange edit in episode 3? It was during the part where Andy was talking about being in a real blimp and then all of a sudden it cut to Conan introducing the Ted Turner gag. In that single edit, Andy disappeared from the couch.
I was watching the 10:00pm version. I had recorded the 8:00 east coast feed, but my DVR said it was "incomplete" and therefor recorded the later version.
