Damn, did this episode move. Great fight scene with the spy parents. It was also cool how Alex improvised a way to get the antidote pill to Nikita. Nikita kicked ass tonight.
Now we've got a new player with this Gogol organization. This show just keeps getting better.
Maggie Q looked especially hot, particularly in that red dress at the end.

Couldn't have said it better myself. And I totally agree with you that this and Vampire Diaries are the most addictive and entertaining shows on Thursday's (even over the NBC comedies)Just caught this today. Great stuff. The fight scene with Nikita and the handlers/fake parents was kick ass. That totally caught me off guard when the fake parents attacked Nikita all of the sudden. Alex is really impressing me. I loved how she seduced got into medical and then seduced Tom to sneak the antidote in his pocket.
The Gogol organization is going to be an interesting new player in this season.
This show has a little bit of everything. It has a little bit of 24, a little bit of Alias and cool missions of the week that all tie into the overall arc of this season. Maggie Q and Lyndsy Fonseca sold me on the show after the Pilot and Xander Berkley has been a solid villain.
I think this is a damn impressive rookie show, I'm scratching my head why some of you bailed or thought it sucked. I think 24 fans would eat this up.IMO, if NBC bought this show instead of Undercovers, this would have been a hit. This is how you do a serialized spy action thriller. I like JJ Abrams, mainly for creating Fringe and Alias, but he and his writers need to take notes from Nikita on how to do the genre right (especially without some mumbo jumbo prophecy shit that bogged down Alias)

But looking at the ratings, I think Nikita wouldn't have lasted as long as Undercovers did. However, being on CW, the shows can survive longer with lower ratings.

That's a valid complaint, but I don't see how it would turn someone off of the show. It's an action/spy show; a certain amount of suspension of disbelief goes with the genre. There's more than enough good stuff to compensate.
