I did. I like the occassional terrible SyFy movie of the week.

Where's Sessa17? Isn't he madly in love with Felicia Day?

Other than the guy playing the fiancee, the acting was good for a SyFy movie. The CGI sucked, but it was some good, cheesy fun. I liked the ending.

It sort of seemed like the Pilot for a TV series.

You know it! I wasn't home but I made sure to DVR. My roomate watched it last night and said it was actually pretty good.

I agree with the above poster who said it felt like a pilot to a tv series. I enjoyed the film and thought it was a little above average for typical SyFy fare, I still felt it was a little too slow in parts - but overtly enjoyable.

Aren't a lot of Syfy's movies really backdoor pilots?

Please let this be true. A Mega Piranha weekly series would make me giddy.

This wasn't bad. Day seemed like she was trying a little to hard to act.

I did like that they didnt shy away from some rough choices in terms of the plot.

Most SyFy movies aren't even SyFy productions, much less back-door pilots. They're mostly just cheap independent films that SyFy pickups for their so-called SyFy Originals.

These types of movies plus the shows they pick for their network is what has made it a joke over the years.

SYFY SATURDAY ORIGINAL MOVIE RED: WEREWOLF HUNTER, STARRING FELICIA DAY, CAPTURES MORE THAN TWO MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS DURING OCTOBER 30 PREMIERE

TOP CABLE MOVIE OF THE DAY AMONG ADULTS 25-54

NEW YORK – November 2, 2010 – The Syfy Saturday Original Movie Red: Werewolf Hunter chased down 2.06 million total viewers along with nearly one million Adults 25-54 (959,000) during its premiere on Saturday, October 30, from 9-11PM (ET/PT).
Red: Werewolf Hunter was the top cable movie for the day among Adults 25-54, propelling Syfy to #2 among cable entertainment networks in prime in this demo.

The movie also drew 746,000 Adults 18-49 while averaging a 1.5 HH rating.

Red: Werewolf Hunter starred Felicia Day (The Guild, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long Blog, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as a descendant of Little Red Riding Hood. In the movie, Red (Day) brings her fiancé home, where he meets the family and learns about their business — hunting werewolves. He’s skeptical until bitten by a werewolf. When her family insists he must be killed, Red tries saving him.

Red: Werewolf Hunter also starred Kavan Smith (Stargate Atlantis) and Stephen McHattie (Watchmen). Red: Werewolf Hunter was produced by Angela Mancuso and Vesuvius Productions in association with Chesler Perlmutter Productions.

The next Syfy Saturday Original Movie will be The Lost Future, starring Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings). The Lost Future, premiering Saturday, November 13, at 9PM (ET/PT), is set in an exotic and dangerous future world where an isolated tribe battles for survival in a landscape overrun by mutated beasts carrying a mysterious and deadly illness. A production of Tandem Communications GMBH, The Lost Future also co-stars Annabelle Wallis (The Tudors).

Syfy is a media destination for imagination-based entertainment. With year round acclaimed original series, events, blockbuster movies, classic science fiction and fantasy programming, a dynamic Web site (www.Syfy.com), and a portfolio of adjacent business (Syfy Ventures), Syfy is a passport to limitless possibilities. Originally launched in 1992 as SCI FI Channel, and currently in more than 98 million homes, Syfy is a network of NBC Universal, one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies. (Syfy. Imagine greater.)
