My local NBC affiliate apparently fell asleep with their elbow resting on the "broadcast in ultra-low-quality SD" switch.
I'll catch this in HD later...somehow.

While it wasn't as funny as the MW episode, I would rank this episode as either the second or third best of the series so far.

Hilarious. Leave it to Community to do a full-blown zombie episode.
I love that Troy's suit didn't work at all

Love Troy making the pneumatic sound effects when he returned to turn down the thermostat.
Also, his "Alright, I'm bit ya'll!" line was classic.

I thought there were some very funny bits, but I'm starting to worry that they're trying to make every episode to be the next Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare worked so well because it was a unique episode within the season. But if all the episodes are outlandish sendups of movie genres it's no longer unique.

That was bloody fantastic. Loved Chang's "racist proving", the Dean's Lady Gaga outfit, and of course Annie (goodness me). The ABBA just made it that much better for some reason.

Zombie Jeff still acting cool owned.
I think they actually tried to keep their distance from Modern Warfare this episode and succeeded for the most part. With that said, I am starting to get the feeling the people behind this show think they have no chance at renewal for a third season, so they're just trying to blow our minds with whatever the fuck they can come up with. Newsradio did this with Space and Titanic. They have hit us with 3 episodes of the same type of feel in the last 10 episodes of this show. I say keep it coming as long as they're as fresh as this was.

I was enjoying the episode until Takei closing line. That sent it to awesomeness. Basically, this Kevin has a new voice mail.
No, thank YOU, George Takei!

Re: Community -- "Epidemiology 206" -- 10/28/10
i guess i compared this one too much to Modern Warfare and that is why it didn't hold up for me.
i think this year they are going for zany for zany sake and trying to over-do or out-do themselves each ep.
i don't think it was awful by any means, but last year seemed a little more effortless and breezy, where this year they seem to be trying a little too hard.
fear it may be their downfall, but pray to Shirley's g-d it isn't.
