Really? 50.2 looks great to me. Maybe your local broadcaster is just over-compressing the subchannel?

To me, the picture quality on Antenna TV looks 'authentic' for its time. I don't know if it is done that way on purpose, but I don't mind. It reminds me of watching those classic shows on an old '70s/'80s CRT set with mild reception on the UHF dial (like the one below).

Analog TV didn't have compression artifacts. But I guess I should just be glad this channel doesn't use a bug.

Wish I could watch it. This is a disadvantage of DirecTV - they don't carry subchannels. And my condo must be in some kind of OTA reception dead zone - can't pick up anything with an antenna.

I always assumed you couldn't get DirecTV.

I've kept in my location as a reminder how it used to suck that I couldn't get it.

This comes to Kansas City tomorrow but the asswipes at Comcast don't have it on their line up yet. I seriously hate Comcast...this isn't the only local channel they screw us on either. There are others that are in high def that they only brodcast in standard def. And more digital channels they don't carry. Time Warner gets this right away and Comcast drags their ass on it. WHY?

I saw this was added to my Tivo's channel line-up, but I deleted it. Guess I will put it back and see what shows they air from time to time.

I noticed this on my OTA this past week. It's a secondary channel to the local Fox affiliate.

JJ goes to the clinic for a VD check and meets a young Jay Leno on "Good Times."

They finally added this channel on Cablevision, channel 114 love seeing Dennis the Menace again. I also noticed TV Land has started cutting parts of All In The Family when they come back from commercial, glad to see it's on Antenna TV.

We've had Antenna TV here in Sacramento for a couple of weeks now. I'm digging it.

There is a bug in Los Angeles. I think it started a couple of weeks ago.

Edit: I see they are going to start showing The Ropers after Three's Company this week! I haven't seen that show in years.

Re: Antenna TV announces Jan 1, 2011 launched program lineup

OK, I spoke too soon...Comcast did place the channel in their line up. They just didn't make any prior announcement about it.

It looks like a great channel and I already set my DVR to record a few programs on the channel. However, I wish they would broadcast in at least 720 resolution. I understand these are all old TV programs and all, but still...I can put my DVDs in of many of these shows and trump the video quality of anything this network is broadcasting.

Antenna TV channel 11-4 is now offline. The new channel is 11-2.
