Synopsis:

Spoiler:
With tension building between the contestants as the competition heats up, Chef Ramsay tests the chefs imagination and creativity as well as their ability to work together. In the first challenge, the teams are asked to create one cohesive dish using five randomly selected ingredients. The team that prepares the most harmonious dish will jet off to Las Vegas as a reward, while the losers will be forced to wash, peel and cut more than 1,000 potatoes. After a sloppy start, dinner service takes an unexpected turn of events. Later, Ramsay challenges the teams to shop on a budget and transform four classic ingredients into elegant dishes worthy of fine dining. Four special judges critique the teams' creations, and HELL'S KITCHEN welcome some very special guests to the show's most elegant dinner service to date. Find out which contestants achieve near perfection and who cracks under pressure.

I'm fully anticipating the 100th episode to be the all-time most shocking edition yet. (We say that shit every week and FOX does too )

Looks like no episode next week (baseball playoffs...zzzzz). When's the next time it will air after tonight?

The next Hell's Kitchen after tonight is November 10th and that will be the last 2 hour block. It goes back to 1 hour starting the 17th.

I'll be undercooking a plate of risotto this evening in anticipation.

That's a longer gap than there was between the last two seasons. Without my DVR I'd forget it was even on any more.

My DVR cut off the last 2 minutes. No one got canned the first hour, who got canned the 2nd hour?

Spoiler:
Boris was sent packing. But we've reached the stage of the show where Gordon says nice things about the people as he sends them packing.

Oh, I saw that... sorry, and then Gordon says "I'm not finished yet".. did he make someone on the red team go back to the blue team?

I fell asleep during the second episode watching it online last night. This whole season has been somewhat boring. I cannot believe any of those clowns left will ever be good enough for the head chef job at one of his restaurants.

Crazy Sabrina is kind of hot. I can't wait for that Nona to be gone. So annoying.

Sabrina cleans up well. Actually, 'cleans up' is the wrong phrase. She slutties herself up real well.
'I got on my hooker boots!'

Just watched this on the DVR. My guess is that Gordon will put Trev back with the fellas to even up the sides. 8 contestants left seems a little early for the black coats.

Did he really say something nice? I thought he said something to him like "Thanks for trying" when he was on his way out, which I thought was hilarious.

Agreed. And I find Sabrina so fake that she's absolutely impossible to watch. I've been turning these 2 hour episodes into 20 minute episodes with the FF button on my DVR.

No, he gave one of his patented "You have passion for cooking; never lose that!" speeches.

You really have not missed anything. Pretty bad....I am pretty much following it now to see who could possibly make it to the final two. And out of those two who might possibly get the head chef job. Usually by now you have a good feeling for a couple of the chefs but this season is lacking big time in talent. I find it hard to believe Gordan would want any of the people left for his restaurant.
