FYI, there was a preview during Sons of Anarchy for the new season of Justified. It premieres in February. However the preview had no new footage, it was clips from last season.

Nice to see the Justified promo. I'm so looking forward to that show coming back. February is way too far away.

---

Great episode. I'm glad we didn't have to see any of the Irish this week. Not only was it difficult to understand what The Priest was saying, but it sort of brought the episodes to a standstill.

Lots of great developments in this episode, some good action and humour as well. Interesting that Uncer chose not to alert the Sons of the raid. I mean, there really wasn't enough time, but still. Funny to see Darby back; I just assumed he had died in the porn studio fire. I wonder if this was just a brief reappearance or if he'll be around later this season. I'm thinking it's the former, but who knows. Good thing the police didn't find anything, that definitely would've ruined their plans to track down Abel.

Sucks to see Jax do that to Tara, but I don't even understand why an established and successful surgeon would even want to be involved with that lifestyle in the first place.

I'm glad they didn't kill off Chucky, he's proven to be great comic relief and a real asset to the club.

I'm not sure why Stahl wants Gemma to identify her girlfriend as the one responsible for the murders though...

It was maybe my favorite part of the episode.

Man, those new prospects looked pathetic. I think even I could kick their asses.

Loved this episode. I liked that Juice got revenge on the Mayan.

Stahl is pretty damn cold-hearted. I don't remember her partner being at the crime scene, though.

I wouldn't mind if they never explain what is going on with Stahl and her partner. She's a cold hearted puppet master. It makes sense that she's using a secret deal to get rid of someone she doesn't want around for whatever reason. Chances are it has nothing to do with the club.

Liked the episode.

Really enjoyed this episode; I like the idea of Stahl's GF being blindsided by Gemma's deposition.

A bit worried about how next week's episode will further the show as it looks like there's more "second guessing" going on, in the sense that people are going to react and fuck things up even more.

The guy on the end, opposite end from the big guy, anybody know if that was the kid from Kids? Looked a lot like him.

Edit - Nevermind. I forgot I was on the internet. Yeah it's him. Forgot he was on The Wire too.

I am assuming because he is a semi "name", he will have some plot and not just be background henchman # 2.

I was also surprised to see how weak the prospects looked. Is SAMCRO that hard up they need to take these guys in for that whopping 75 dollars a month?

Yeah. IMO they may as well have been handing them red shirts when that scene started. Then I recognized that dude, so I'm sure he'll at least have some role.

Skinner just happening to hear Jax's name and then seeing the drug deal out in the open w/ Jax and Tara was contrived bullshit. Why was Jax even there?

^ Agreed, the whole scene was a stretch. But I suppose a necessary one to advance a couple storylines. Let's just hope the payoff is worth this implausibility.

That porn chick is a hot little piece of trim.

I guess I missed something....who was the Mexican in the hospital they killed and why did they kill him.

Jax banging the porn chick came out of nowhere.

 at the new prospects and how Jax told the one to get a broom. They must really need the dues.

edit: nevermind, I rewinded. It was a 'rat,' and that was part of the deal. Totally missed that little bit when I watched it.

He was a snitch. The Sons killed him for the Mayans.

He wasn't going to turn a van of sketchy drugs over to Tara for her to do something dumb and get caught with them. I found the presence of Darby to be lazy writing, though. I'm not certain somebody who can't even be bothered to use the current character name is really entitled to complain, though. :p

Looks like no more SOA for me this season. Dish Network couldn't reach a compromise with Fox for a new contract and FX was dropped. Fucking bastards, they couldn't wait until after the season ended? Man, I'm pissed.

this is totally an aside, and i'm no lawyer, but could that be considered a material change in the contract (i.e. not providing a channel you signed up for) to where you could terminate the contract without an ETF?

Unless your one of those who hates watching stuff online, you do know the episodes get posted online at Hulu right? However, there is a 1 week delay. If that helps.

The same thing is happening here with Cablevision in Jersey. The 16th is the day is might go off. If it does, I think I am going to drop cable for good. It is bullshit...these idiots wonder why they lose money...but whatever. There are plenty of other ways to see the episodes so I am not worried.

if the doctor is no longer with Jax, then her character is absolutely useless and should be written off the show.

Yeah..last episode Gemma asked her how far along she was. (6 weeks) And then asked if it was Jax's. Like a total bitch. ;)

I don't know what Kurt Sutter has in store for Tara, but my guess is that it's not going to end well for her one way or another. Just a feeling.
