lol I forgot they sent Cherry to Ireland. Usually I don't like recaps, but for something like that I'm glad they did it because had they not done that and she showed up later in the episode I know I would've been like wtf?
Anyone else think they're setting up the Irish lady to be related to Jax? Probably his half-sister?

Stephen King is awesome. He was on screen like 3 minutes in total and we'll never see him again, but that was probably some of the funniest stuff Sons Of Anarchy has ever done.
The request for '80s music, him saying "where is who?" and taking the golden prayer hands, lol.

Enjoyed the episode. Some very interesting developments.
I totally wasn't expecting the caretaker to get killed so quickly. What did Gemma say to Tara after she fell down dead? Something along the lines of this is your fault?
I loved Opie losing it and beating the crap out of everyone. That scene was well choreographed and well-done; brutal and very funny.
I'm glad everyone is standing together to find Abel. Nice to see Cherry back, but pretty sad she had to find out Half Sack was killed. So it looks like the Irish lady is going to try and help get Abel back to his family.
Pretty sobering moment with Gemma's dad, both his near suicide and his moment of clarity, acknowledging that he slips in and out of it, and it's worse when he realizes what's happened in his life.
Next week looks pretty good.

Gemma just told Tara they had to take care of the body. Tara didn't want to deal with it, but then Gemma told her it was Tara's responsibility too since she let the caretaker's "fingers breath", thus allowing her to escape the confinement.

No, I heard that; it was actually a little later in the show than the part I'm talking about. The part I'm talking about is immediately after she was stabbed and Tara said, "She's dead," Gemma said something that I couldn't quite make out.

Yeah, I wasn't exactly clear either, but she looks like she could maybe be around Jax's age. But I suppose his action on the side might make a little more sense. I did sort of get that, "Why didn't he stay with me?" sort of vibe from the lady.

Give Stephen King an Emmy!
I loved the way he measured the body, looked in her mouth, copped a feel.
"Where is she?"
"Where is WHO?"
What was it he took as partial payment?

A pair of golden prayer hands. I'm pretty sure it was also what Tera used to hit the caretaker over the head with.

I'm just not feeling the show this season. Loved the opener, but the stuff with the kid is being drug out far too long for my liking. I hate that Gemma/Tig/Tara and the rest are all separated. I'm also having a hard time believing that Opie is still OK with his club family over the whole Donna thing in light of how they're increasingly making him more and more emotional in his actions and outbursts. (Of course maybe that's all leading up to him snapping, but I feel they kind of put it to rest last season.) I didn't like how Season 2 ended, and I feel they're just spinning wheels thus far on this season and know there's still a bunch yet to go till Jax has the kid back.
I definitely still love the characters and the underlying stuff from Season 1 and 2, but I just worry for me this season is going to end up being a wash till it gets close to the end or something. Hopefully I can get back to the same enjoyment level.

Great episode this week. There is an interview with King on the Sons of Anarchy set for those interested.

One thing that's bugged me in this episode and the last was the casting of the caregiver. If your going to have a Guatemalan immigrant with no friends or family in the country, at least according to Gemma, then maybe she shouldn't speak perfectly unaccented english. She also seemed too hot and not skanky enough to be sleeping with Tig within a day or so of meeting him.
