I think I'm done with this show - it just isn't getting any better.
Why did the robbers bring Stephanie's engagement ring to the next wedding robbery? How did the robber survive a fall from a 10-story building? Why didn't Stephanie wear a mask when she switched the blood samples, just in case she had to stop.
Too many WTF moments to mention them all.

Couldn't agree more. The whole wedding ring resolution was unbelievable and just plain lazy. It's as if the writers are saying to us, "Don't worry about why, just go with it". No, this needs to make sense and very little about this show does. The dancing lessons scene was unbearable. Rev Camden doesn't look evil, he looks porn director creepy.
This is bad TV.

yeah, pretty bad. I hate that Chiklis is such a pussy in this, even with his super strength.

Huh .... guess I'm not alone in my reaction to this show. I've watched since it went on, and ended up quitting this episode after about 20 minutes.
Done with it.

I watched the whole thing, but only half paying attention. The lab assistant continues to be the best part of the show. The commish's adventures in crime fighting are getting boring already.

I'm kind of glad to hear this. I have all episodes aired thus far backed up on my DVR, so now I can delete them, cancel it and act like this show never existed. I have over 24 hours of programming to watch and I need to trim the fat.

But, I have far more programming saved up. Can't be bothered to put up with mediocre crap.

The show is not that bad, but many seem to think ABC was going to churn out a show like Heroes. So far I have been entertained by this lighthearted superhero show in three episodes more than anything by Heroes after the first season.
Yes, not explaining how the robber survived a fall from 10 stories was a mistake. My guess is they altered it at the last minute and could not reshoot, for fear of turning the show too dark if the superpowers are used to start killing criminals. What was annoying was the B-plot involving the children. The teenage son looks frighteningly like a grown howler monkey.

Funny, I was going to say that the kids storyline, or at least the daughter's, was what I found most interesting about the episode. Not that they really did anything with it, but while I was zoning out during the parents scenes I found myself hoping they would get back to the kids.

I think the teenage son grows up to the be gay son of Christopher Walken in Wedding Crashers. This show's premise was pretty thin to begin with and it hasn't gotten any better. Unless Julie Benz starts Ghost Whispering it by wearing nighties all the time, I can't see it getting any better.

ABC ordered 4 additional scripts today. That is usually a precursor to a full season order or additional episodes to the original 13.

Just viewed this online today. This episode was not that bad......not sure if people really gave this episode a chance. This was the best of the three so far.....
I think if they could just get past all of this crap where they are just learning their powers and have the writers concentrate on giving the viewers a solid action packed episode then it may work.

I could see that there are many negative feedback for this show, but then again how can we expect a decent super hero tv series based around a family drama?
Never watched the show, nor am I surprised this was the result, what should they change to make it better?

Plus, Michael Chiklis played one of the most iconic characters in TV history over the last decade, so I can see alot of people who watched him on The Shield not liking this character.
Why don't you try watching this and give your assessment? The 1st 3 episodes are online at Hulu.com.
