I really, really liked this episode.
The new kid is pretty cool. I liked that he's actually pretty unique and doesn't fit too cleanly into a highschool stereotype. I mean the Navi language and McConnehey impression was pretty funny in an awkward way.
I was happy that they acknowledged that Kurts unwanted advances contributed to the earlier argument, but I was also happy that they balanced it out with what it must feel like to want to just be normal, and be able to hold someones hand or go on a date, but can't because you're the only one like that in school and town.
The only thing I'm kind of disappointed in, is how they decide to deal with certain issues.
They show what can happen to a teenager who gets pregnant. But so far, they treat promiscuity as something not so serious.
What I mean is that Quinn is shown to get pregnant and gets kicked out and loses her reputation. But it seems like everything is okay with her now.
Aside from that, everyone else is okay, despite their actions.
Puck is portrayed as whore, Santana is portrayed as loose, Artie loses his virginity to a girl who's implied to have sex with virtually the whole school and so on.
Considering how many of the population is infected with STD's, you'd think they could write or focus on other aspects.
It seems that overall, most shows, from Frasier, to Seinfeld, to this, treat the risks of promiscuity very lightly.

Got a source on that? Because using effects on the recording and correcting pitch with Autotune are two very different things. And not everyone on the internet has the "golden ears" they sometimes imply.

I would def say most of them can sing live without voice correction, here's an example

It's hard to say anything good about anyone's voice on this show, with the all the autotune they use.
The scene felt flat because they weren't DOING anything! If I remember correctly, their lips never even met. Santana was just straddling Brittany, kissing her neck. No connection of bodies otherwise whatsoever. No tongue kissing, no hips grinding...it was the most boring lesbian scene I've ever witnessed.

Really liked this episode. I was especially happy with Kurt's storyline and how they called him out on how he had been acting. I'm a little tired of Artie, but everything else was great. Loved almost all of the song selections. Rachel and Finn's number was hilariously uncomfortable and I LOVED Kurt's Victor/Victoria number. But I'm a big fan of that movie.
Here's hoping this week's ep keeps up the good work.

Give me a break. All I was saying is that they make everyone's voice sound at least a little more perfect than they may actually be...some more than others. Therefore, it's hard to say whose voices you can be truly be impressed with, and whose you can't.

You can truly be impressed with Lea Michele's voice. I don't think I've noticed them use Autotune on Matthew Morrison's voice either, who is probably the second most-talented person on the show.
Amber Riley and Mark Salling are also ones that they use less Autotune on.
Cory Monteith is the one it is most noticeable on. It's a shame too because he has a good voice and if they would give him songs within his range he wouldn't need it.
I like Naya Rivera's voice a lot, but I can hear it creeping in on her every once in a while. They probably use it on Kevin McHale's voice too; sometimes his voice just sounds too unnatural. Obviously it was used for Jane Lynch and Heather Morris. Not sure about Dianna Agron or Jenna Ushkowitz, but they haven't been featured in singing roles as much as the rest.

Well, I think you can count out the Broadway vets from the auto-tune list. That's Lea, Matthew and Jenna (and Jonathan Groff whenever he's on). But yeah Cory is probably the biggest offender just because he never really sang before Glee so he hasn't come into his own voice yet. They need to keep him within his own range and let him build from there.

Aren't a lot of shows in repeats because of baseball? Fringe is off until November.

GQ's sexy Glee cover and photo spread has caused quite a stir, and not just with hormonal guys.
The racy photos feature actresses Lea Michele and Dianna Agron in tarted-up, come-hither vixen mode; in one shot, Michele, wearing a top and underwear, is seated on a bench facing the camera with her legs spread open.
On Wednesday, the Parents Television Council denounced the magazine and the creators of Glee, describing the spread as one that "borders on pedophilia."
"It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on Glee in this way," PTC President Tim Winter said in a statement Wednesday. "Sadly, this is just the latest example of the overt sexualization of young girls in entertainment."
Winter said Glee's younger viewers were "treated to seductive, in-your-face poses of the underwear-clad female characters posing in front of school lockers, one of them opting for a full-frontal crotch shot ... By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show's direction. And it isn't good for families."
Though the three Glee actors in the photo shoot portray high schoolers, Michele and Agron are both 24, while Cory Monteith is 28.
GQ responded in a statement: "The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy. As often happens in Hollywood, these 'kids' are in their twenties. Cory Montieth's almost 30! I think they're old enough to do what they want."
Reps for the Fox series did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.
And heres a link to the photos that got the PTC all fired up

If the GQ shoot wasn't itself high school themed I would say the PTC was being ridiculous. As it is, since the actors, regardless of their age, portray minors and are arguably role models for kids, I can see the PTC objecting. The Pedophilia comment is absurd though.

Glee is not, and has never been, a show for kids.
The PTC should spend their time doing craft projects with their family instead of watching shows from the creator of Nip/Tuck.

I LOVE Santana's voice and I am so glad she is singing more. She sounds a lot like Sporty Spice to me. LOL She and Mercedes had my favorite performance of the night followed by Kurt. Even though I know Rachel and Kurt's performance of Happy Days/Forget Your Troubles was an homage to the original Barbra/Judy duet, Rachel's facial mugging totally distracted me from how great they sounded together!
