I think this is the least attractive female cast i have seen. I would rather have sex with a lubricated sock.

Although talk to me after a few drinks, and i might say Ave Maria, or Cara Marie or whatever the girl with manic panic red and black hair is.

There's a certain level of cruel behavior that is just beyond acceptable and it looks like Laurel is THAT person at this stage of her life when she drinks. And that's NOT a good enough excuse.

I was thinking MTV were wankers if they didn't have a message at the end extending their prayers for TJ, so I'm glad they had some of the players say something nice. It's a trashy show on a trashy network, but that was totally needed considering the situation.

Shavon shouldn't be allowed back. She serves no purpose. It's not like she's Beth and will make you feel sorry for her and hate her in the same episode before she used to quit something. Shavon is boring, unattractive and lame.
I can understand being a bitch if you are provoked, but the way Laurel acted to Eric last night was beyond cruel. It was nice to see almost everyone left the hot tub after what she did. Same could be said for Sarah to Shavon, I understand the trama from her last show, especially when everyone was laughing at here face. Even though she lead to the team being disqualified. That was pretty shitty of Sarah to talk to her saying don't be selfish by trying to win in the golog. What a pep talk.

I don't really feel that Sarah was especially mean (especially after the challenge as I would have been just as upset). I guess I don't feel bad because Shauvon is a complete joke. She quits, and then in her final interview talks about being respected and tough, and then coming back at a later challenge to prove that. Really? Then do it there.

I was very happy to see Easy win last night. Laurel's just an awful person, and as I'm the same size as Easy (sans the red hair) I can relate to what he talked about last night. So it was awesome to see him complete the challenge and win the Gulag, especially since Vinny threw a fit afterward. It just sucks that no one wanted him to come back, haha.

I was glad as well that MTV had a shout-out to TJ. I thought that was pretty cool.

Hilarious Gulag(?) this week. The slapping stuff was gold.

Also, Cara Maria looks a lot like Eva Angelina.

Eric's head looked like a giant strawberry at the end.

Re: RW/RR Challenge -- "Cutthroat" --Season Thread

Catching up with the last two episodes now... Laurel was way out of line. I think the others really should have put her in her place for that. It really led nowhere too, same with the Johnny random fight at the bar thing. A lot of small incidents that don't really have much payoff so far this season. The Shauvon stuff was a big let down. Maybe the preview for next week will change that up a bit with Ty and Brandon.

Loved the slapping challenge, but the 3rd round payoff was a little bit weak. I was hoping it was escalate to something crazier.

New episode airs tonight. I have a slightly off topic question. Time Warner finally added MTV HD in KC, but a lot of shows that I haved watch such as 16 and pregnant were letterboxed. Are just some of their shows shot in HD like the Real World, and The Challenge?

Yes, though a few years ago even some of the HD shows would be in SD when rerun for some strange reason. But at least they seem to have stopped that.

I didn't watch single episode of RW DC except for the clip of Ty letting one of the housemates fall off the stairs. He is crazy, he will probably never be able to live down last night if he ever does another challenge.

Re: RW/RR Challenge -- "Cutthroat" --Season Thread

It's been a few years since Derrick had to do one of these individual elimination challenges (ever since he figured out how to properly align himself in the game). It's good to see he still has it. As soon as I saw the challenge I figured it would be a shutout.

As for the red team, I know she's a friend of Susie, but I thought Tori was a bitch way back on Viewer's Revenge, and I've never seen anything to change my opinion of her. I guess they'll have to find another guy to pick on now that they've gotten Brandon out, b/c I don't see them winning challenges.

Derrick is just a beast. Now that he's toned down his outbursts, I almost always root for the guy.

I agree about Tori. She was just a total bitch, but Paula was almost just as bad and I think Paula enjoys it more. That might have been the first time I agreed with Johnny Bananas when he slammed Tori's sense of entitlement.

Melinda will be missed only because I'd never seen her before and I thought she was the most attractive girl other than maybe Laurel, but Laurel's attitude has really made her someone that I don't really care for at all this season. She's incredibly condescending and rude...even when she's not drunk and being an even bigger ass.

The previews looked intense, but I wonder if, especially with this being MTV, if they push these people too hard. Hospital visits and needing to leave seem to be happening more and more. You'd think MTV would have their own physician to supervise things because it really did seem like that hospital might not have been the best place for Chet to get treatment and diagnosis.

Derrick once said that he learned some things about how he was perceived by watching himself on these shows. Of all the "Evan alliance" guys, I think Derrick and Evan are the closest to being stand up guys. I remember on the Island when the alliance ganged up to get Ashli from Sydney out, and she had to pick a guy to play with her in a three person elimination challenge. She chose Derrick b/c she knew he would fight and wouldn't throw it, and he busted his ass going one on two against his alliance mates. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed though.

I don't like Paula either, never have in fact, but Paula's a drunk. Tori doesn't have that excuse. She's just a bitch.

Not excusing Paula and Tori for being complete bitches but Camilla was an idiot for voting for Brad and even dumber for telling him. He's pretty much been the team leader and it's a SECRET ballot. You can always count on these Real Worlders to be dumb asses.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see why everyone flipped out on Camilla like that. Yeah she shouldn't have mentioned who she voted for, but I don't see why Brad needed to be protected like that.

They flipped out because anyone who is considered a rookie by the elders in their eyes should not have in any way any chance to send in an elder because how dare they think they're better then them after having competed in these shows for all these years while you just showed up out of nowhere.

It's becoming a real ugly trend the sense of entitlement all the alumnai are getting as a whole. Too much of this "I want to do everything I can to stay out of the Gauntlet because I know I suck and keep sending in the rookies and I won't step up for my own screw ups."

Its why while I watch this show I keep yelling at the screen "The only reason you guys need this money so bad is because none of you are willing to get any real jobs and keep hoping this show will help you keep extending your 15 minutes!"

Re: RW/RR Challenge -- "Cutthroat" --Season Thread

Glad to see Camilla go if only b/c it means Paula or Tori have to go in now. Hopefully that means we'll be rid of one of them.

Dan sucks drunk or sober. His losing was no surprise, even if it was to Dunbar.

I can't believe I'm rooting for the team with Johnny on it. I also can't believe they're easily the most functional. I don't think they would even have a debate on who would go in next after a loss. I think it would be unanimous again.

Laurel may be a nut, but she did have a point. Why would you risk losing the Colossus?

Re: RW/RR Challenge -- "Cutthroat" --Season Thread

They'll find a way to keep Paula out again. I mean she and Dunbar are the only ones to actually fail at the task and yet Dunbar's the only one to go in? Paula NEVER got a vote?

Tori and her hubby are REALLY coming off bad this season. I wonder if they'll even comment on it at the reunion. Then again, MTV loves to ignore most of the stuff that actually occurred by the time of the reunion.

Re: RW/RR Challenge -- "Cutthroat" --Season Thread

Yeah, it was pretty ridiculous that Paula didn't get a single vote when she was the one that caused the fall.

Johnny's team kind of lucked out; first because they lost so much at the beginning that they trimmed all the fat early on, and two because they didn't really have any other strong guys to take the lead. Like Brad was saying, the other teams had a leader to start with which made it a bit easier when it came to voting.

It was funny that Abram at least admitted to the camera that he was voting for other reasons, but voting in Laurel was stupid. I'd put in Sarah before Laurel at least.
