Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
Adrianne Palicki does not have fake boobs. If you've seen her on Friday Night Lights and even on Lonestar last season, she's not that big at all, other than being really tall. It's definitely the outfit/boustier.

To be "politically correct" the white stars were left off so not to be appearing (God forbide)...to American

Wow, that looks awful. Almost like a costume they would use in a porno.

Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
Actually, she's had those bolt-on upgrades for a few years now (check out screen shots from her appearance on "North Shore"). Her implants are on the small side, but enough to push her to a small/reg-C cup.
Not sure when this shot was taken, but she looks really young: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_U1T4yBDn6q...cki-015-01.jpg This is one more current within 2-3 years (with the tell-tale signs of the upper pole fullness of implants): http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-mRm7UnOzGc...als-0PeO1l.jpg This one is even more recent (again, note the upper pole fullness) : http://cdn-images.hollywood.com/cms/294x255/6574242.jpg Here's a shot of her from the earlier FNL days (when she did have them, just downplayed them): http://www.willvano.com/images/TV-Gu...ne-Palicki.jpg |

Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
Looks fake and outfit seems plastic. They need to give her the jacket if they want to go with the pants. Otherwise it just looks like Wonder Woman has issues with showing her thighs. :D

Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
I'm going to reserve judgement until NBC officially picks up the show and we see the 2-3 minute trailer that gets released during the May upfronts.

And then compare it to this shot from 6 years ago from her role on Smallville: http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/y.../karaClark.jpg |
Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
I read today that Elizabeth Hurley is slated to play a villain of some sort in the pilot. Maybe Cheetah? Aside from her, I don't think she has that much of a rogues gallery.

Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
Man that's bad. Whoever did costume design for this show should be fired. Why wouldn't you go with jeans and a red top with some accessories to make an updated look for WW? Smallville did this, although to a degree to get around the no suit rule.

Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
At least the boots are red, and no shiny pants.

Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
The top photo is Palicki, but I'm assuming the bottom is her stunt double.
And costume wise, the pants do not work with that strapless top. That's why the new DC costume works. |
Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
Is there a part of acting school that teaches them to all run the same way with the hands flat and pointed straight out? they all run that way, all actors.
|
Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
They really should've gone with the new DC costume. The old WW costume is part of the reason why she can never be taken seriously in live action.

Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
What's with the silver bracelets? They clash with the gold.
|
Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
You guys are funny. They change her outfit in the comics and it's near 100% hatred. Then here they try and make a costume that looks like a super hero and everyone wants her in jeans.
The premise of the show needs her to have a "costume" as she is marketing herself as a company brand much like a professional wrestler would. The one scene we were shown has her going on and on about her action figure even. |
Re: David E. Kelley developing new Wonder Woman series
It also reinforces the whole "comic book costumes don't work well as live-action" that everyone seems to forget when the X-Men aren't in yellow spandex in the movies.

The new pants aren't distractingly shiny, but that's because there's no light hitting them in those shots. In fact, they seem more straight-out 80s spandex based and if you gave her a matching colored jacket would make her look like she should be waiting people at a drive-in diner. They should have gone with black leather and matching leather jacket look. |
