Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
I was surprised at first you even heard his voice on that phone call. Thought it might be a soundalike. But I was genuinely floored to see him on the Skype chat. I had been convinced that Petersen had totally left CSI in his rear view mirror. Nice to see him again.

Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
I'm pretty sure that when he left the show, he said that he occasionally planned to come back for cameo appearances. Or am I misremembering?

Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
^^ Yeah that was a pleasant surprise to see Petersen back last night even though it was essentially a cameo. I still don't quite understand how the Grissom-Sara relationship is working considering she's been working in Las Vegas for almost 2 years now and he has been traveling, lecturing and is now at some Incan dig. It's only been 2 years since he left the show, but geez it looks like he's aged 10 years.
I know Petersen will never come back to work on the show full-time again, but if CSI makes it to season 12, which I'm sure it will, that he's willing to make sporatic guest apperances to help with cases. Especially since Marg/Catherine is leaving after this season. |

Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
Petersen's still one of the producers, so he might as well show his face every now and then if it will boost the show's ratings or help the storyline.

I know why Gil stays away so much, his mom is a raging bitch
at least up to the opening credits that's my opinion of her |

Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
Katee Sackoff's Facebook page said this was her last episode. That's too bad. They didn't write her out of the show, so I guess she could come back.

Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
I forgot all about her. How many was she on? I only recall seeing her once before.

Yikes, last night's episode was the worst CSI episode ever.

Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
Really? I thought it was pretty intense.
Ray announcing that he had the MAOA gene on the stand, destroying Haskell's case was great. I'm not sure about the Spoiler:

Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
Well, there goes CSI's ratings for the under 14 female demographic. :D
What a weird coincidence how Justin Bieber turns up again on CSI right in the middle of the media blitz for his movie. |
Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
One of the few episodes I liked this season. It wasn't your run-of-the-mill, solve-the-murder-in-an-hour episode.
|
Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
^ Same here -- really enjoyed this week's episode though. I think I am "Bieber'd out" this week though -- first the Bieber-themed Glee and then CSI. Need a break...;)

Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
Although CSI trials are usually ridiculous, this one was simply stupid. At best, he'd be committed to permanent psychiatric prison care.
And Bieber's acting was terrible. Atrocious line delivery. |
Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
Man is this show going downhill fast... It is becoming a chore to watch.

Re: CSI: -- The 11th season thread -- Thursday's on CBS
Wow, what an intense storyline with Nick. That intro with Doc was something else. Probably the strongest of the season. Too bad the b "cat" story was fucking garbage. I get it served to bring Melinda Clarke back in, but it really dragged down the strength of the main story.
