Like someone said, it's crazy how Artie Lange has managed to outlive Giraldo and Schimmel.

I always liked him since his the Tough Crowd days. I'm glad I had the chance to see him do stand up last December.

I wonder if they'll reference him at all during the next comedy central roast whenever that is, since usually they don't pull any punches and have made fun of the dead before

He was in New Brunswick, NJ. No wonder he died. He probably gave up on life.

This!

This is absolutely terrible! I've been a fan of his comedy for years! Damn, I wish I would've been able to make it to his show @ the stress factory over the summer :(

RIP!

This has got to be one of his best roasts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wH19ZMZ9BsM

Fixed.

What a waste. Another talented guy gone because of drugs.

Yeah, heaven forbid a guy lives his life the way he wants to.

He was the only good judge on LCS. Sad news.

I was just coming into the thread to say Artie Lange outlived Greg?!

Anyhow, he was great on the CC Roasts. Never saw any of his work/standup.

Trying to think of which was the least shocking death this week:

Gloria Stuart
Greg Giraldo
Segway guy riding his Segway off a cliff

If I didn't know better I would swear this was a news story written by "The Onion".

Like a few others, this is where I stand as well. I'm unfamiliar with his comedy but he was always one of the best roasters.

His albums Good Day to Cross a River and Midlife Vices are both well worth a listen.

He was a Harvard lawyer? Wow, he did have a very sharp mind.

Sorry to hear that he has died.

Although he lived a much shorter life than the typical person, I am sure that he experienced some pretty awesome things in his 45 years. He was obviously a smart dude, and obviously very funny. Who cares when you die, if you are really getting to live, and experience life like he did? He got to do more in his short life than many of us will get to do, in our hopefully longer lives. Or who knows, maybe we are all going to die in 2012 anyways, so the joke is on us for settling for mediocrity when we live in a place that allows for us to be more than that if we truly follow through with our dreams.

Agreed, but Good Day to Cross a River is much stronger overall.

The Larry the Cable Guy roast from Giraldo has been taken down. Does anybody know anywhere else you can watch that?

I thought it was a riot.

wow, did cc/viacom just now realize that those were up? And from the looks of it, CC only took down the Giraldo roasts from those specials, as everything else is up

Probably putting together a DVD package to make some $$ off of a dead man right now.
