Man, did Will Arnett steal this last episode. He was hilarious.

This show is getting torn apart on IMDB. It doesn't seem to have a huge support of fans here, but maybe this show is just one of those shows destined to have a smaller following. I think this is the best comedy on American TV right now. And, yes, I have seen the overrated (but still funny in it's own way) Modern Family.

I found this show pretty much by accident on my cable provider's On Demand service and watched all four available episodes back to back. I can't wait to see more. The title alone reminds me of favorite Brit-Coms of my youth (especially the Fall And Rise of Reginald Perrin) and the style of the show delivers my expectations of those great classic Brit-Coms, with a modern comic sensibility. This show takes David Cross and the Brit-Com style and blends it perfectly well in my book.

This show is being hated by a lot of people expecting another Arrested Development, at least on IMDB. Can we at least get over the fact that Arrested Development is over and done with and let the actors from that show do stuff that is different?

I can't wait to see how this series plays out...we are already shown part of the ending...but the fun is seeing how we get there. I get the feeling this will be one that will be in my personal collection soon and enjoyed quite a bit more over the years to come.

It's not a bad show, but I just cannot watch it. The snowballing lies is what kills it for me, and just way too uncomfortableness - too much discomfort for not enough laughs.

I've been enjoying it. Just wished Serafinowicz worked with Cross and Arnett on this show instead of Running Wilde ;)

Yeah, I love this show. It's just so funny and the humour is so uncomfortable, but I can't get enough of it.

I love how Todd just keeps piling on the lies and somehow manages to remember them all. When he was talking to the police officer he mentioned having lived with his father in Leeds. It was totally unnecessary to even throw that in there, but so funny that he is trying to keep everything consistent, just in case.

Todd is pretty unlikeable as a character, but it works well that way. Everything he gets himself into and all of the bad stuff that happens is because he lies, refuses to ask for help, etc.

I think Dave is my favourite character though. The way he continually tricks Todd is awesome. He's kind of a jerk too, but he's just so funny and clever

I'm loving this show. The only disappointing thing is that we only have 2 more episodes.

So, what exactly are the Turkish planning? In the first or second episode they made a copy of Todd's passport. In this episode the woman cut off a lock of his hair and it also looked like she pulled something off his jacket.

"There's no Y in Bank of England, and even if there was, that's Helen Mirren."

Thunder Muscle has been described as radioactive. I would assume it's some sort of terrorist thing, and that the lock of hair is for DNA evidence.

The shirt that Dave gave Todd, given the way people reacted to it, I'm assuming it was the shirt of some British white supremacist group or something along those lines. Am I correct in that assumption?

At first I thought it was some sort of BP shirt and people were reacting about the oil spill, but it was the British National Party:

"The BNP restricted membership to people it referred to as "indigenous Caucasian", effectively excluding non-whites, until 2009 when its constitution was challenged in the courts on grounds of racial discrimination.

"The BNP seeks to restore the overwhelmingly white ethnicity of Britain that it says existed prior to 1948 through legal means, including "firm but voluntary incentives for immigrants and their descendants to return home"

I've been enjoying this show. I was a couple weeks behind but am now caught up and I can't see how people who enjoy the awkward comedy the likes of the UK (and to some degree US) Office aren't enjoying this show. I love it and I'm not really a fan of David Cross or Will Arnett (in reality i sort of dislike them both a bit) but I'm still loving this show.

Just got caught up with the most recent episode. Love the show (especially Will Arnett's character).

Yet another thing I love about the show. I don't pretend I get all the jokes like that the first time around, but I appreciate a show that doesn't spoon feed it to me either. So a guy has to do some research after watching an episode or two. OH NOOOES!

I lost interest after the the third episode. I really wanted to like it. I love David Cross and Will Arnett, it just... doesn't do it for me.

I miss Mr. Show/Arrested Development. :(

Really? I just assumed by the fact that the shows began with "12 days earlier", etc, that we had that many episodes. The fourth episode was 10 days, so somehow It'll jump to 1 day, or do they plan to tell it over more than 1 season?

Because it is such a BBC-like show I was thinking shorter run. But since then, as you point out, I was starting to wonder otherwise. Just checked around and it is definitely only the six episodes, though Cross has said he would like to do another season if it is comissioned.

Wow that was kind of a weird episode this week with the revelation about Todd's boss and his father appearing at the end. Curious to see where they go with it.

While there are a handful of other comedies that I watch and enjoy, this has been the funniest show on TV this fall (though Bored to Death is having a strong year too). I guess you have to be a fan of uncomfortable humor.

I loved him immitating the Colin Salmon character not going the horribly awkward way we were supposed to believe it would.

I haven't seen anyone mention it, but has anyone recognized Spike Jonze in the last two episodes?

I didn't realize he was in it, but now that I think about it the guy who got "fired" must have been Spike. I thought the looked familiar but I couldn't place it.

So wait, this week was the last episode of the season? It seemed like a penultimate episode. Weird.

What the hell is up with Alice's food and the chemistry-like cooking!? That's the only thing I didn't get. That dinner scene a couple of weeks ago seemed like a totally different kind of show.

I'm not sure why they made her character be in to it, other than to show she may be a bit peculiar herself.

I thought the show was pretty strong overall. I was a bit surprised with the ending, but I guess it fits. That's where he couldn't keep it up any longer, so that was the end.

I would guess this is a one and done type of show which probably fits best. I would hope Cross would look to do another project on IFC though.

So what was the deal with Will Arnett's character? Somebody just called him and made him the boss of the company through a shell corporation? I was lost on that part.
