People bash Heroes and even with its flaws is 10 times better than this shitty show.

she just annoys the shit out of me. i know it wasn't her, but they totally ruined her character on Dexter about 3 seasons in and in the movies I've seen her in (Saw whatever, Boondock Saints II), she's annoying as hell.

So far its not really good. Seems miscast. Michael Chikli is decent, but Julie Benz and everyone else seems miscast. Everything from the look and acting makes it feel very cheap.
Feels like a ABC family channel series. also Visual effects are pretty lousy. From Julie Benz's acting and visual effects as she runs down the highway and everything is in slowmotion. Her reaction was awful.

I found it enjoyable, for what it was. Sure, it's not original by any stretch, but I thought it was fun. And one thing it got right over early "Heroes" episodes is that when you do a superhero show, you should let the viewers see some powers in action on a regular basis. And I didn't think the effects looked bad at all.

Damn, thought this looked horrible from the commercials so had no plans on watching it. Now I read here that Autumn Reeser is in it and I'm disappointed that I didn't at least give it a token viewing.

I can understand why some people may be hard pressed to take on a super hero themed show especially after the disaster that was Heroes, but I think this was a good opening episode. It introduced the characters and I think it set up everything well.
If some of you were annoyed by the Interview-style format, you obviously saw that they were talking to their therapist, so it's not some wacky mokumentary thing that The Office does. Plus, I read a story from a previous thread that it will be eliminated after episode 2.

Great pilot. I am in for the season so far. I wish I was clever enough to see the "twist" coming but it caught me by surprise.
Just as long as this doesn't turn into early Smallville "Freak of the Week" type crap where everybody got their powers for the exact same place our heroes got their powers from. This show is already treading into Incredibles territory so it's going to need to work to stand out on its own.
