Eastbound and Down -- The 2nd season thread -- Premieres 09/26/10

Synopsis for Chapter 7:

Spoiler:
In the second-season premiere, Kenny resurfaces in Mexico under an alias and with a passion for cockfighting, but draws the attention of a local baseball manager (Marco Rodríguez) who wonders if a man named Kenny Powers can still pitch. Vida: Ana de la Reguera.

I don't watch or know anything about this show, but I thought I would go ahead and make this for you who are fans....I'm more doing it so that awful & annoying thread title..."I'm back and your fucking out" thread doesn't get bumped up again.

"You're not mad, are you?"
"Why would I be mad at you?"
"You know, because I got busy and I didn't immediately call you back after I made sex to you."

That's either the guy from the Metro PCS commercials and/or Little Superstar.

Re: Eastbound and Down -- The 2nd season thread -- Premieres 09/26/10

Nice to see that Kenny is still the belligerent asshole we love. Funny ep., but the preceding ep. of Bored to Death made me laugh harder. Always good to see Deep Roy.

I hope that really was Ana De La Reguras' real booty shaking at the camera. I'm guessing since it looked the same in the shots on it it was. Guess that's going to be Kenny's new obsession.

Fuck, this was over too soon.

I almost want to wait until the end of the season so I can see the ~X-hour movie instead of each ~25 minute episode.

"Look at the goddamn sax player from 'Lost Boys' trying to rub the language barrier in my face."

Worth watching just for that line.

No kidding. I haven't watched it yet (will tonight) but this is a show I need to watch from start to finish. I've blown through S1 at least a dozen times without stopping.

The dude from Lost Boys was shirtless and greased up. I liked the reference but it wasn't that accurate....though maybe just to me since I've seen the opening to Lost Boys a hundred times just for the sax player scene. Timmy Capello comin' correct.

It was funny but my expectations after the first season were too high, so I didn't laugh as much as I hoped I would.
