Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Elena, Damon and Alaric travel to Duke University to research Isobel's past and her studies in paranormal phenomena. Meanwhile, Stefan faces a terrifying new danger in the woods, and Tyler learns a surprising secret about his uncle Mason.

Season 2 is 2 for 2 so far creatively. Now it's facing a monster truck of competition.

Re: The Vampire Diaries -- "Bad Moon Rising" -- 09/23/10

Can somebody explain to me why my local CW/MY station would prefer to show local high school football then this and Nikita? They do show this at 10p. Tonight it's delayed even more because the game ran over. My dvr does not adjust so thankfully I caught it and padded the time.

I know this could work out better. It is less likely to be killed going against other shows in its normal time slot but good lord , local high school football?

Sorry I needed to vent..

lol.. well at least it's fostering interest in the local team I guess.. You just live in an area where people love football, any game, anywhere!

if it makes you feel better my home town is thought of as home market for both San Fran and Oakland so every Sunday those teams get two of the three football slots on tv.. lame..

anyways, Vampire Diaries is pretty good this ep.. Plus with the way the show seems willing to off people at any given time I thought for sure the werewolf was going to splatter someone in the cast!

I'm sort of tore if it was cool how the werewolf looked or a cheap out for their CGI/FX company. I mean like the idea of it being a wolf vs some really crappy looking cgi or person in a rubber suit action.. but I fear a show down fight in some ep is going to suck..

damn good episode.

Caroline as a vampire is a definite plus for me. Still miss Ana.

I dont like whiny, please be me friend, sad puppy dog Damon. Sarcastic, mischievous, evil Damon is far more interesting.
