yeah, when the live in nurse's employer doesn't hear from her (I have a feeling she'd be in contact at least occasionally) the first place the cops will look is their house
although the cops would likely have been checking there once and a while already considering they normally go to relatives houses when someone is on the run

They'll be out of there soon, anyway. Wasn't Jax coming the next day?

I really liked it, but I'm hoping the entire season isn't about hunting for the baby.

I figured that would be the story arc of the year, but I'm guessing it will be resolved by halfway in. I think the greater arc is the rise of elder Hale in Charming.

I still don't get why the Irish aren't giving the kid back.

Me neither but then the whole Irish part of the story has confused me.

that's what i thought, too. i seem to remember they sent her up "North", meaning Canada. At least that's where they smuggled her to, anyway, on one of those trucks.

neither do i. all i gather is that John Teller was in Ireland at some point. Maybe he did something there that pissed everyone off, so this is somewhat of a payback. But, he's dead, so it's not like it's affecting him.

I think you are both right. I'm pretty sure they overdubbed the part of the recap where Gemma said they were sending her to Ireland.

I will renew my call for somebody with the Season 1 DVDs to go check on the Cherry situation. I'd do it, but I don't own S1, just S2.

I think the IRA is a bit embarrassed and may be trying to figure out how to make things right, perhaps. I think they're denying knowing about the kid mostly because they needed to take out the guy who killed Half Sack first. Now that it has happened, my guess is that it won't be long before the kid is back in Teller hands.

ETA: I do own season 1. Unfortunately, my daughter is busy watching Go Diego Go! When she goes to bed, I'll try to check.

I'd expect , and hope, the kid is given back next week and then never heard, seen, or spoken about ever again

My best guess is that the kid will be back in Jax's arms 2 or 3 episodes from now. That's based on nothing but speculating that the next episode will be about travel and the one after that will be about hooking up with SoA's Irish branch/getting the IRA's attention.

Re: Sons of Anarchy -- "Caregiver" -- 09/21/10

I just skimmed the last episode of season one that Cherry was in and only watched the scenes with Cherry and I hear no mention or Ireland or Canada. It was all ambiguous "You have to get out of here," and "Are you ready for your road trip?" but she did leave in a truck with Cameron. Somebody else can probably do a better job with actually watching the last few episodes Cherry was in, but that was all I found.
