Well if he got kicked out of Stanford then worked at the Buy More for a few years he's in his mid to late 20's. If he was born in the early to mid 80's, both dates seem off.

When they first just showed Olivia Munn's legs in the Buy More outfit and then started to pan up, I thought it was going to be Kristen Kreuk's character back from last season. From my memory, Munn in that outfit paled in comparison to Kristen Kruek. Anyone have pics of the two for a side by side comparison? They actually have a similar look and I wonder if it may have confused some of the casual viewers.

Olivia was obviously sick when she was filming that. Her voice was raw and it sounded like that after spending too much time out and at E3.

Something tells me they gave her less to do because of it.

I thought the same thing. I was expecting KK to be back. Not sure of the point of Munn's character. I know Morgan will be involved with Casey's daughter so it wasn't a love interest. Supposedly the character will be played by a variety of actors so maybe that's the simple point.

I thought it seemed off. I always thought Chuck was roughly my own age (born in 1980) or maybe 2-3 years younger TOPS. The references don't really work if he is much younger IMO (plus he does not look any younger) so having him played by a 7 year old in 1994 did NOT hold up - I let out a big WTF when watching it at that moment. Chuck would have been a teenager by then.

In the end, I think the point was more that it was Olivia Munn. She's hot because she's also a geek/gamer. There are women who are arguably hotter than her, but factoring in the geek factor and she moves up many points.

I thought Munn had nice legs in the pan up . But other then that, I don't see the big deal, both about her performance or her general appearance. Just a small bit part for Morgan to fawn over.

I know chuck is on a shoe string budget but this made it look like they stole the shoe strings. I think they will be better off not trying to simulate big shots and just stick to things that don't require much setup.

NBC didn't do a very good job promo-ing the premiere IMO. It was on my radar that's why I caught it but I could see where on-the-fence fans might have missed it.

Yeah, she gets zero geek points from me. She always comes off as totally fake when being "excited" about anything in the geek world. Especially her coverage of Comic Con this year. She was practically rolling her eyes at everything they covered and just came off as totally completely bored the whole time.

Plus she sucks as an "actress". Hope she's not back next week.

Loved both of the Rocky IV lines they gave Lundgren's character.

And my vote for GREATEST JOB in show business: the cameraman who had to operate all the upskirt shots of Yvonne. Holy crap, she's the hottest woman on TV.

Probably because Comic Con seems to be one of the last things she was contractually required to do at G4 and she wanted out of there badly. She was giving a lot of the same looks at E3 (where I mistakenly thought she first caught the bug).

I don't think per se she fakes being geeky but by then she had the upcoming NBC sitcom, the gig with Daily Show, I'm sure some sort of book signing schedule.......

She went Diva on G4 on her way out the door and probably found a way to disrespect/burn the bridge with the company that started her career.
