BTW, I am looking forward to watching this. I know a little bit about Tess from the previous episodes this season, but I'm not too familiar with Allison's ex. Question, Is he the father of Allison's baby?

Loved that! It was a perfect BSG shoutout.
Awesome episode. The cast did a great job of juggling their interactions with the hallucinations and the real people. Really well-written episode.
It cracked me up that "Farto"'s insecurity was his 10 year old nemesis.

Oh how I miss Nathan.
Well, actually I really like the interaction between Nathan and Carter. The interaction between the main character is really great in general, but I really adored those two.
I really hope they can bring Nathan for real some time in the future, is the actor doing something?

and some vodka commercials.
Eureka has been awesome this season! The hallucinations were a good way to bring back Stark (and Tess) without really bringing them back.
I think I forgot something from an earlier episode--why is Zoey back in Eureka and not at college these past few episodes?

The thing about the alternate timeline is that Stark is probably still alive here. That's why I was so surprised that Carter immediately brought up his demise in the other timeline and this Stark knew all about it. Then of course they reveal he's just a figment of Carter's imagination.
As for Zoe being back, it's probably summer right now on the show.

Seeing Stark and Beverly again got my wife and I thinking... what's up with the Artifact in the new timeline? In fact, what's up with the Artifact in the original timeline? Has it even been mentioned since Henry used the teleporter to separate it from Kevin? Its strange that something that was such a driving factor early in the show, has disappeared entirely.
Anyway, great episode, though it really illustrates just how much this show misses Stark, and doesn't miss Zoe.

Unfortunately, there isn't much for her to do. I like her character, but unless she has something more to contribute, she ends up being unnecessary as a regular. Her crush on Zane gets her a little more involved, but it would be nice to see something else.

Really great episode. Loved Callis' shout out to BSG and I thought the episode was quite poignant & funny in bringing back Nathan and Tess to test Jack and Allison and help them overcome their insecurities about starting their new relationship. I initially did not catch on that they were both hallucinations. Since this is the 1st season I started watching the show weekly, I wasn't familiar with Nathan's fate from beforehand. I did have knowledge that he and Allison were a couple before. "Farto's" 10 year old nemesis was hysterical.
Again, as I said in the Leverage thread which has a similar scenario, SyFy is stupid for promoting episode 9 as a "Season Finale" when there is still a half season left. There is a Christmas episode and Colin Ferguson said on Twitter that the 2nd half of the season will premiere in January.

Are they saying "Season Finale" or "Summer Season Finale" or "Mid-Season Finale" ?
It makes great sense to advertise that this will be the last episode for months because people will miss eps along the way, but they don't want to miss a "finale" as those usually involve big moments and cliff-hangers.

SyFy doesn't really break up their seasons like USA - at least they never have with this show or Warehouse 13. I expect this will be all until the show returns next summer especially given what was in the previews for the next episode. I think they are going to wrap this arc...
Carter: Put your shirt on!
Stark: Hey, it's YOUR fantasy.

Stark: Hey, it's YOUR fantasy.
And as I just said, Colin Ferguson said on Twitter the 2nd half of this season (10 episodes) will premiere in January since this season has 20 episodes total which also counts the X-Mas episode in December.

I stand corrected. But far be it from me to COMPLAIN that I'm wrong! I look forward to all of these shows "off-season" from the broadcast networks almost more than their programming these days!
