Lame episode. Found myself getting bored. But Then
at the fight and
at how they could hear a gunshot from so far away (took them minutes to get to him) on a moving train.
There should be a rule that the blind aren't allowed to bang hot chicks. They won't know the difference. Save the hot chicks for us schlubs w/ vision.

Finally another good episode. This breaks the 4 week fail streak this show has been on. But I think the only reason this episode was good was because it's centered around Auggie, who, in my opinion, is a much more interesting character then Annie. Hopefully next week doesn't start another fail streak.

Almost finished watching this episode, but just wanted to share that the ratings for this show are insane. This episode got 5.9M viewers and 2.5 in the 18-49 demos. This episode surpasssed Burn Notice and Royal Pains numbers last week.

I'm glad to see a thread for this show (not that I've been looking -- my wife and I just zipped through the episodes the last 3 days). Where Memphis Beat and The Glades have failed this summer, I think this one is just good enough to be a keeper. I think it sucks that they cast Gorham in the show but hamstrung his potential with the blind bit, but it is nice to see a blind character on a show. As it is, I find it to be a pale (but more serious) version of Jake 2.0. Good enough to keep for summers.

Annie and her sisters interaction is SO fake its painful to watch.
Turning out to be an OK but forgetteable show.

They really need to use the last part of each show after the final commercial break to start unfolding the season arc of Annie's mysterious lost love/rogue spy. While I realize they tried to strike a parallel between her and Auggie's storyline, it really kind of felt skimpy.

This was a really crappy episode. I really hope the writers know how ridiculous they have made these plots and characters.
... but for some reason I liked it.
There is a Chuck vibe to this show. People who are agents, but shouldn't really be agents.
I can't wait for the blind fury Rutger Hauer driving scene. Where Annie can't drive and Auggie (blind nerd) is forced to drive the car with Annie giving directions.
They really need to work on the romantic side of the show. The "I lost the love of my life", "My Work Has Ruined My Relationship" and the "My Relationship is Just A Cover", angles are all poorly executed. The writers keep threatening us with a Jay/Annie hookup. They have ZERO chemistry and Sendhil Ramamurthy is a completely wooden actor.
The sisters stuff was just thrown in to give Annie a sense of home. Something to lose. Well, it is way too forced. If they wanted to do it right they need to make the show about her personal life and then add the CIA stuff. Have her romance be outside the CIA and a tighter family group, but that would be a completely different show.

2nd show in a row where they forgot the "Characters Welcome" motto by having them all a bit bland.

This has been one of my breakout shows for the summer. I look forward to it every week, even though the backdrop of the CIA, ALIAS lite comic book style is a bit of a joke. I like Gorham a lot and the rest of the cast is surprisingly solid.
And the Blind Guy bit with the chicks make a lot of sense, they feel less pressure becuase he cannot evaluate them on how they look, and that I can imagine, appeals to them.
They have given him a Daredevil kind of a feel, with enhanced supersmell and computer skills.

I'm out. While not horrible, it's just not good enough compared to the other shows I watch. Life's too short for mediocre TV.

I enjoyed it for the most part. The 1st 3/4 of the episode felt a little too whimsical and light hearted for me to take it seriously. I think the episode finally picked up when Auggie and Natasha went on the train to Canada. I thought it was funny that Natasha's lap top actually had an area where she could swipe those ID cards for her to input the new photos. Gorham is a pretty good actor and I actually took his character a little more seriously since they made him the focal point and Annie was more a supporting character here.
The thing I don't like at all is the little flirtation between Annie and Jay. Can't the Producers and Writers see that Piper and Sendhil have zero chemistry?
I've enjoyed the show for the most part, but through the 7 episodes that have aired, I think half of them are forgettable. As I said earlier, White Collar is a much better show.

Glad to hear this show is doing well in the ratings. I'd probably rank it third among the USA shows I watch, behind Psych and White Collar, but ahead of Burn Notice (which I think is losing its shine) and Royal Pains which I can take or leave.
I agree though that Annie and Mohinder have zero chemistry, and wish they would get rid of him altogether. Perabo and Gorham are both great, and I LOVE Kari Matchett, and I wish we got to see even more of her.

I'd put Burn Notice ahead of this by a pretty big margin, even though the writing on Burn Notice really is starting to get lazy.
