Man this show was in... horrible form last night. Seriously, what happened to Weeds? It used to be so good. The only good part was Shane's evil stare in the rear-view mirror.

Yawn... 30 minutes of nothing. Terrible start, but I'll stick around to see where things go. Can't get worse than last season, can it?

This show has gone from decent to horrible, yet I still watch. Is this the last year?

I've been thinking the same since Season 3. It can.

I thought S04 was the series absolute lowpoint and that S05 showed a real return to form.

I'm looking forward to S06...

I thought S04 was going to be the lowpoint and that it couldn't possibly get any worse, and I was kinda right, only problem was S05 wasn't any better.

i was watching and thought it has become some kind of cartoon where nothing whatsoever happens to the principles, no matter what they do, and Parker is playing aloof to the 10th degree and was very very annoying. all the characters, especially Shane with his complete and utter lack of emotion for what happened, were cartoonish and not what i remember this show to be at all.

I agree that season 4 was easily the worst season. Last season obviously wasn't as good as seasons 1/2, but it also wasn't nearly as bad as season 4.

What I really miss are all the great little scenes with the supporting cast. Seasons 1/2 had so many funny subplots and great character interactions that we just don't get anymore; yet I still watch... go figure.

It's funny how Silas has gone from a unlikeable douche, to the only person on the show that likes an adult.

This part really bothers me. We've always seen Nancy not acting as upset/concerned as she should be - even though she's been through some major shit (some involving her kids). But now Shane actually kills someone (not really in self-defense either) and seems to be fucked in the head - yet Nancy hasn't really changed her demeanor much. She doesn't like what she's seeing, but she's still resorting to sarcasm and humorous dialog and hasn't broke down. The writers need to draw a line when it comes to the comedy of the show. Sometimes events should be taken seriously.

I think the series high point came around the end of season 2... came into 3 expecting more of the same... the show became less funny and more preachy... Nancy is the worst mother in history and gets worse... enough of the milf talk, we know she looks good, the scene where she seduces Matthew Modine after coming in from the rain was awesome

Its gotten to the point where I dont really like anyone on the show, with exception of Doug who is always funny

Not many other characters were in this episode except for Parker and her family. No Celia, Doug, Isabelle, and Dean which are far better characters imo

Maybe because of the long break, but I actually enjoyed this episode.

A few LOLs here and there and the last shot was really great.

Celia is not going to be in this Season. Dean and Isabelle are likely written out. Doug will be back...
