CSI: is officially dead - Justin Bieber to guest star

http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2010/...t-star-on-csi/

What's worse than a one-shot appearance?

An entire ARC AROUND HIM throughout the season.

This show has officially jumped the shark inside a nuked fridge.

Re: CSI: is officially dead - Justin Bieber to guest star

The CSI producers released this statement today: ”Every 20 years, a phenomenon like Justin Bieber graces our world. We’d like to believe that the phenomenon of CSI has had the same impact on popular culture. The opportunity to bring them together in the premiere is a great treat for our audience and all of its new viewers.

Of course by treat they mean fuck us loyal viewers over and spit on us for being so stupid, but that doesn't have the same ring to it.

CSI just dun goof'd and the consequences will never be the same!

I know we don't like him.. and he should be sent to North Korea.. then to Antarctica.. But I don't really think that a small role that he might have is that big of a deal and won't ruin the show. That being said I hope he is the one who gets mutilated and they never find the killer. Or maybe Grissom comes back and he is the killer!

How is this any different when they had the god awful Rascal Flatts on? it's not. CSI has sucked for years now.

First Federline and now Bieber....Rascal Flatts I can stomach, and I don't listen to either them or Bieber. It's different, just cause. No logic involved. It's just cause.

Taylor Swift was good. Genuinely good. Least I thought she was.

So will CSI: be airing at 6pm across the country now since I believe 7pm is bedtime for Justin's fans

Whatever....He's the "It" kid right now, so I got no issues with them casting him. As long as his episodes make sense and don't exploit his so-called music.

BTW, I hated the Rascal Flatts episode. That was more just to plug their music.

I loved the episode with Taylor Swift. She did a really good job performance-wise and the episode was quite compelling.

That statement by the CSI Producers is ridiculous though.

Are they going to kill him in this episode? This doesn't sound like the kind of show that would have a lot of musical guests, but are they going to bring in Davy Jones next?

Too bad Justin Bieber doesn't have a lot of talented siblings and/or parents, then they could give them a whole sitcom like the Partridge Family.

So the recipe for success is to dump Liz Vassey and cast Justin Beiber? F U CSI!

I'm so glad I dumped this show years ago.

I only keep watching CSI: Miami during summer re-runs out of pure comedy and the beautiful HD presentation.

No big deal. CSI is disposal television for the masses, and Bieber is disposal music for the same target group. Seems like a good match to me.

Don't know who he is and don't watch CSI, but it must be a hell of a slow news day because this news is currently #6 in the AP's "Top Stories" feed.

Yes, and just as she was getting more and more screen time. No resolution to her character will happen either.

Wow that blows. I thought she was one of the better parts of the show.

Odd timing, because this morning I had a brief thought "I wonder if anyone younger than 25 watches CSI?" It looks like their 12 and under demo is going to shoot through the roof.

Vassey was promoted to full series regular either last season or the season before. The other lab techs have been recurring guests for years. CBS has been cleaning house on a lot of shows, getting rid of regulars for probably the same reason for each, being money.

Eddie Cibrian on CSI: Miami is being removed from the show, as is A.J. Cook on Criminal Minds.

Difference with those two is that they will be back to wrap things up.
