Apparently couple number two has officially arrived. This ought to make Hayden's decision this week even more awkward.

In last nights episode (7-18-10) did anyone else notice that Andrew went to the HOH room, knocked on the door, and when it was answered they told him to come in, he said no and went back downstairs and told the rest of the house they wouldn't let him in? Did that really happen, or was I just high on cough syrup?

Yeah..he said he needed to use the bathroom, I'm assuming just to see who was in there, and then said forget it and went out and told everybody that they told him they said they were still talking and to come back in a few minutes. I'm assuming he was thinking they wouldn't had let him in and when they did offer he didn't want to make himself look to the other outside folks like he was in with them. Like they may question why they would let Andrew in. Not sure his exact line of thinking though.

Last night's AD was brutal, watching Rachel, Brendon, Ragan, Kathy and Kristen sitting there and spilling everything to Hayden.

I'd think they would be able to figure out that there's an alliance between at least Enzo, Hayden, and Lane, but they're all too busy freaking about Britney and Monet to notice. Ragan even mentioned that you know who's on your side by the people who don't "talk game" with you, and Hayden just sat there for an hour taking everything in.

I really wish the DR would show Brendon, Ragan, and Kristen some clips of the Shithead Brigade plotting against them so the house would explode. Too bad the saboteur is gone... that would be awesome for the DR to start feeding Annie some of this stuff.

Another group with a lot of dumb people or, because I don't personally know them, at least stupid players.

I don't care how universally disliked she is, I'd still be happy seeing Annie get a second chance, but it will never happen.

I swear, I still can't believe how little Kristen is seen on the regular shows. I miss Michele and, as loopy as they were and even though they got power hungry and mean for a few weeks, you could always count on a Jeff and Jordan conversation to blow your mind with its stupidity, which became pretty entertaining.

Too bad that I'll never really know more than the BS CBS edit because I have no time for anything else this year and these threads typically don't get a ton of posts with a lot of details about what's really going on.

I just fast forwarded through practically all of last night's AD. Man, this is one boring bunch. I can't stand the Brendon/Rachel footage. I'm surprised Brendon hasn't gotten whiplash from the way he snaps his head back after each pathetic little peck. I think I agree with those of you that think he may be gay.

It was kind of funny (sad) the way he kept going inside to see if she had gotten out of the diary room. I hope the house sees this and realizes that without Rachel, Brendon is useless. They'd be much better off taking her out and leaving Brendon in the house. The guy will be a zombie without her.

Really? Are you getting that from the live feed? I thought he was a lock to stay. Enzo, Lane, Hayden, Kristen, Ragan...and 5 is the magic number. I figured Hayden would secure Kristen's vote and Ragan is friends with him.

Dude was not only stupid enough to offer himself up as a pawn, but told Rachel to keep it a secret. I'd rather have Monet and Brittney talking crap on the off-chance it causes a fight or two vs Matt's uber-suspicious routine.

Matt's got that problem that smart people often run into - thinking that because he's smarter than everybody else that he can do no wrong. He's not smooth enough to run a scheme like Will Kirby.

Matt going would be perfect in the face of the Brigade's, and his own, hubris.

Re: The Big Brother 12 After Dark(Showtime Too) Discussion Thread

Monet is almost guaranteed to leave. Matt's days may very well be numbered, but he's not going anywhere this week. He offered himself up soley to protect the "brigade" for another week and between the other three brigade members, Kristen (who doesn't like Brittany & Monet, largely b/c she reads body language & can tell that they hate her...they were always shooting her daggers), & Ragan (who is one one of his best friends in the house) he was as close to a lock to stay as anyone ever is. The ONLY way Monet could stay is convince Rachel & Brendon, who don't like her and want her out of the house. Even then it would be a LONG shot.

As for Hayden's loyalties...I think he's with the Brigade only as far as being with the Brigade helps him. I think he's with the other side of the house only as far as being with them helps him. I think his strongest loyalties are to Lane & Kristen, who he is now sleeping with &...uh...doing stuff with every night.

Kristen & Hayden are both in agreement that they want Brendon out of the house. They just don't want to have to do it. That HOH room meeting was not really a true alliance with Hayden firmly on the other side. Hayden's a gray area.

Re: The Big Brother 12 After Dark(Showtime Too) Discussion Thread

Matt was explaining to Enzo the other night that his master plan to get Brendon out was to offer himself up as a pawn (but requiring Rachel to keep it secret so he could play the victim). Enzo just didn't get it. Matt likes to play to the camera, and I think this is all part of creating a "character" (he probably figures he has to risk something so he'll get more face time on the show).

Rachel was suspicious and wanted to put up Andrew instead (thinking he'd be a "safe" choice since she really wanted Monet out), but she was talked out of it.

I kind of hate the face that "The Brigade" is getting away with this and I really hope they shoot themselves in the foot.

After I made my post I checked the live feed update...Matt isn't really getting away with it anymore. Brittany & Monet now know that he offered himself up as a pawn to get Monet out. The Brigade remains unexposed though. Matt made himself a pretty big target now.

Monet probably has a hail mary shot of staying now.

Yeah, I read some of the updates after reading Blu Man's post. Matt straight out said to Rachel that she (Rachel) is his target next week. There's a guaranteed vote from Brendon.

It will be hilarious if he gets himself voted out, especially after his "greatest alliance in BB history" statement.

I still don't see it happening. It will be tough for Monet to get five votes. And say what you want about Matt, but Monet and Brittany are going after Rachel & Brendon too. It's not like it's a real choice for them.

If Enzo, Brittany, Lane or Matt (Monet) win HOH they will go up (maybe not until after veto, but they would go up). Brittany would be the wildcard in that she would want to nominate Kristen too (Jealousy!).

I don't think Kathy wants to win. I think Ragan will try, but he'd be better off not winning. The Brittany thing means Kristen has to try. Brendon has to try. Andrew is strange. And Hayden shouldn't even want to sniff HOH this week.

Re: The Big Brother 12 After Dark(Showtime Too) Discussion Thread

Oh, I think that goes without saying that both Monet and Brittany would put up Brendon and Rachel. But there's a big difference in Rachel knowing that she may be the target and someone in the house flat out telling her that she is their target.

It's not looking too good for Matt right now.

He was up in the HOH for a long time attempting some serious damage control with Rachel, and then after he left Rachel was making nice with Britney and Monet. Matt then proceeded to get shitfaced and passed out in his bed.

I don't know what will happen... the house seems volatile right now and there don't seem to be any firm alliances. Seems like everyone is gunning for Rachel and Brendon next week.

In order for Monet to stay she has to lock in Kathy, Andrew, Brendon & Brittany which doesn't seem entirely likely. Kathy & Andrew will probably not vote that way unless it's a sure thing. Then she has to get either Ragan or Kristen to get to five, neither is very likely at all. In fact, she probably has to get both of them to get Kathy.

There's a shot, but it's not a very good one. In fact, right now Brittany and Monet are trying to concentrate on Hayden which is a complete waste of time (not that they know that). Hayden would only flop as the seventh vote, and then it would be unanimous b/c Lane & Enzo would flop.

It is surprising what little airtime Kristen is getting. I'm thinking she's not giving much to the DR.
Does anyone else have trouble watching Rachel and Brandon make out?

Kristen is playing a smart, lay-low, game right now. The only person that is after her is Brit and that is just because Brit is jealous of her looks.

I just wanted to chime in on the comments on the DR influencing the game a little. I don't think they set out to "fix" the game but we all know they absolutely do bring up stuff to cause drama. Those of us watching the Chima/Russell fight last season saw them laying in Russell's bed planning the fight before it happened. Then Chima went so far as to go into the DR and ask if she could follow through with their plan of throwing water on him and the DR gave her permission. The other night on BBAD Brenda and Ru Paul were talking and she said something about how the people watching at home would respond to their fight and then BBAD switched feeds and when they came back they were both not talking. Last season the DR also left a microphone turned on and one of the hamsters went into DR. I think Lydia was on camera and immediately grabbed her mic to tell DR they were talking live to the whole house. Nat I believe was like shhhhh, shhhh listen.

So I think there is no doubt that DR is trying to influence the game, especially since these casts are so boring, but I think it is only to get some drama for the cbs cuts. I think this starts from when they plan the casts before the show. It was funny a few nights back when Rachel was realizing how everyone in the house is like 1 or 2 degrees of separation from one another and that she believes BB put her and Brenda in the house because they belong together and all this. DR kept telling her to not talk about production, so there must be some truth to what she was spouting off. I just find it funny that a $20 escort from Vegas could piece it all together so easily.

I'm sure Rachel knows that even if this is Reality TV, it isn't all that real.

Britney is a bitch, but I highly doubt she's jealous of Kristen's masculine body and homely face.
