I believe when threads go down the page they aren't lost forever, and can simply be bumped again. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: The Big Brother 12 Season Discussion Thread

Well there is usually a thread before the season starts about the cast and speculation. Then a seperate thread that runs for the whole season.

Re: The Big Brother 12 Season Discussion Thread

First Impressions:

Monet is going to be the spoiled Bitch this season. Rachel is acting very dumb, but hopefully she stays around a long time since she is nice to look at. Ragan is acting like every gay stereotype. Then the guy who is the orthodox jew sounds like he is going to milk his religion the whole game. The sabatouer twist was already annoying me after the first episode, and once again CBS cheaps out on bringing the show to HD.

Is it me, or is this the palest cast in Big Brother history?

Hate the redhead's personality already, she's either wearing a retainer, or talks funny.

That female cop did not acquit herself well in the HoH challenge.

The paranoia is far too high so soon, it would suck living in the BB house this summer with the silly saboteur inside.

Maybe the people who cast the show are trying to avoid the very nasty racist fights from happening like they have the last few years.

Annie reminds me of Christina Applegate, albeit a dumb version of her.

I don't mind the saboteur twist--especially since they're making the saboteur do some things right under everyone's noses, even if it is in the dark. Wow, though, it sure makes everyone paranoid right away. Anytime someone messes up in a competition or doesn't speak up, or speaks up too much, or leaves the room, they're a suspect.

Here are the saboteur's items:

Re: The Big Brother 12 Season Discussion Thread

This does appear to be a cast with far fewer crazies than in the last few seasons. Sure, it's early and, sure, it could change, but hopefully they can have a fun and entertaining season without needing over the top sex and people who are just completely miserable human beings..and I'm not prude at all, it's just really gone off the rails with too many houseguests for the last several seasons.

I probably will wait until I see a few more shows before I give my impression of who I like. The first show just is too early to do anything but begin forming opinions. Annie, Kristen, and Britney got off to good starts in terms of me rooting for them.

Those really did look like tasty meatballs and I'm not talking about Rachel.

Somebody get Hayden a brush and what is with the Jigsaw voice? Are they going to start killing people? I would watch for that.

How come Julie is only one who gets to watch this in HD? That doesn't really seem fair, but I guess it the perks to be married to Les.

Annie's a Cub fan...I can't root for that. I'm hoping I like Kristen though.

Re: The Big Brother 12 Season Discussion Thread

So far Matt's my favorite new cast member. Out of the girls I'm digging Rachel's body and Kristen. Least favorites would have to be Andrew (betting he's the saboteur...), Monet, Ragan and Kathy. Everyone else I'm luke warm about but I'm sure my opinions on the house guests will start to change in the upcoming weeks.

I think I will have to agree about Matt, and I'll add Enzio to my favorite guys in the house. After watching BBAD last night they already want Andrew out of the house.

I like Lane only because I don't think they ever had a farmer in the house before.

Anything that has to do with BBAD should probably be in spoiler tags. I didnt want to know you has been targeted until I see the episode.

I agree. Please keep this thread for those who watch the weekly episodes ONLY. It's fine to post about things that have happened on BBAD after the episodes containing those time periods have aired, but otherwise, please keep this one "safe" from spoilers.

Re: The Big Brother 12 Season Discussion Thread

Shutting the lights out while the houseguests were all in the living room was stupid. Assuming the sabateour was the one to actually put the padlock on the door (and not someone associated with the show) the houseguests that were on the couches can almost definitely rule out the person next to them (giving certain people an advantage) and can probably rule out anyone who was on a couch at all since someone would have felt them get up. Can possibly rule out the people in the nomination chairs since they may have had to walk past the people sitting on the couches (can't remember if there is a coffee table in the middle but I think so).

Would have been better to do it at a random time when no one knew where anyone else was.

Even though they haven't been through a single eviction yet, Matt thinks their 4 person alliance is the strongest alliance in Big Brother history.

i really like their alliance of Matt, Enzo, Hayden and Lane. But yeah the comment about the strongest alliance in BB history, thats the kiss of death that they will probably all be picked off.
