Considering my son has probably watched a combined hour or two of tv in his life, a few minutes here or there won't hurt him.

My 5-year-old daughter loves it, too. She asked me to set a season pass for it during the first season.

I used to LOVE this show, but lately it's just not doing it for me anymore.. I ended up bailing on both Tuesday and Thursday's episodes mid-way through.

I dig Wipeout, but a little goes a long way. I also think your enjoyment might depend on your current mood.

I love the squirters
The doors thing might be as funny as anything on the show, all 3 doors have a hammer behind them.

I could watch it every night.
It does lose steam at the end during the wipeout zone $50,000 section for me though.

I'd like the show better if it were 15 minutes of all the best hits. It gets incredibly boring and repetitive.

It's good with a few bong hits.

I think 2 episodes a week are killing the fun too. I don't look forward to the Thursday episode as much as I do the Tuesday episode.

I don't make a point of watching this show, but I LMMFAO at the wipeouts, it's that involuntarily laughter that's good to unleash every once in a while, but it'd get old if overdone. But still, some of the whipouts are brutal, I don't know how people don't break their necks or other limbs in getting knocked off the platforms.

My favorite part so far this year was the launching of your partner seemingly 20 feet in the air after jumping on what appears to be a giant air mattress. That was awesome.

And I don't like the big balls moving.

I've always wondered, with how everyone wipes out so often, was there ever an incident that someone broke or dislocated something?

If I recall correctly, someone did hurt their arm/shoulder in the wipeout zone during season 1. They climbed back up to try the obstacle again, but it was clear they were hurt and the med team made them stop.

Someone did die, though.

Here is the story about that.

Does anyone know why the one guy pulled himself from the competition tonight? I thought it could have been an injury but it didn't show anything.

My 5 year old loves this. Anything to make him laugh....he also likes AFHV but I can't stomach it.

Re: last night's episode. Random my ass....that ballet chick made it further than anyone else. Wouldn't have been right to pass her over for the fat big foot guy.

They were shooting a Wipeout revival for TBS and a contestant died of cardiac arrest after completing the course. https://tvline.com/2020/11/20/wipeou...ardiac-arrest/

That’s a shame.

Nicole Beyer doesn’t do anything for me. I guess they figure she has experience roasting people from that baking show.

John Cena. No thanks. He’s weird to me. Just weird.

I had no idea this was back. I used to get so hammered and watch this when it was on abc.

They’re going to have to disinfect their balls.

The only role I remember him from is Trainwreck, emphatically telling Amy Schumer she looks like a dude from behind.

I think he tries a little too hard to be quirky, but I don't really mind him.

Cena is OK, he's got that Boston area sense of humor. I'm used to it.

Re: Wipeout----Series Discussion Thread

The Wipeout Revival with John Cena and Nicole Byer will premiere Thursday April 1st at 9PM Eastern on TBS. Camille Kostek (Gronk's girlfriend) will be the sideline reporter.

I'll miss John, John, and Jill....
